Chapter 45 - Can you help me

The next day as Charlomaine was doing something, Oton came into his room, as he looked at him

Charlomaine just looked at Oton. What is Oton

Oton looked at Charlomaine. My lord some is here to see you

As she moved a way, someone cames in, a 6-foot-tall, humanoid demon with curly, long, expressive blonde hair that extends to her waist and is tied up with two black scrunchies. She has pure white skin, black lips, red circles on her cheeks, and her sclera is light yellow, all of which she inherited from her father. Her eyelids have a pink shadow and are decorated with gray eyeshadow, which she inherited from her mother. She also possesses sharp fangs, and sports black, sharpened fingernails. She has goat hooves rather than human-like feet. Charlomaine smiled looking at her this was Charlie Morning star Princess of hell and his younger sister, she was almost 200 years old, which compair to Charlomaine and even some of the royal demon she was a very young person, she was nice kind and if Charlomaine had to says he had a Disney Princess personality

Charlie looked at her brother. Brother can I show you something

Charlomaine just looked at her. What is it.

Charlie just looked at him hoping her brother will take her side. You know about the extermination and how it has when from 10 years to every year, do to reason, so I was thinking is there another way to you know stop over population, you know redemption of sinners, so I was planing on making this hotel call Happy hotel

Charlomaine paused and looked at his sister, he thought rembering the demons and his time in hell. No I don't think redemption is Possible

Charlomaine sat back in his chair, pondering his sister's words. He admired Charlie's optimism and kind-hearted nature, traits that were rare in Hell, but her proposal seemed almost naive given the brutal reality of their world.

"Charlie," he began gently, "I understand your desire to help and bring about change. Redemption, in theory, is a beautiful concept. But in practice, it's much more complicated."

Charlie's hopeful expression wavered, but she remained resolute. "I know it won't be easy, but I believe that even demons deserve a chance to change. We can't keep relying on exterminations to control the population. It's barbaric and it doesn't solve the underlying issues."

Charlomaine sighed, recognizing the passion in her eyes. "You're right, the exterminations are a harsh solution. But Hell is built on chaos and sin. Changing that fundamental nature isn't something that can be achieved through a single project, no matter how well-intentioned."

"But we have to try," Charlie insisted. "If we don't at least attempt to find another way, we're just perpetuating the cycle of violence and suffering."

Charlomaine stood up and walked over to his sister, placing a hand on her shoulder. "I don't want to see you get hurt, Charlie. The demons here are not like us. Many of them thrive on chaos and destruction. If you pursue this, you need to be prepared for the dangers and challenges that will come with it."

Charlie nodded, determination shining in her eyes. "I understand the risks, but I have to try. I believe in this, and I believe in the potential for good in everyone, even demons."

Charlomaine sighed again, but this time with a hint of resignation. "Alright, if this is truly what you want to do, then I won't stop you. Just promise me you'll be careful."

"I will, brother," Charlie said with a smile, her confidence unwavering. "Thank you for believing in me, even a little bit."

Charlomaine nodded, a small smile forming on his lips. "You're my sister, Charlie. I'll always believe in you, even when I'm skeptical."

As Charlie left his room, Charlomaine couldn't help but feel a mix of pride and worry. His sister's vision was noble, but the path she had chosen was fraught with peril. He hoped her optimism and kindness would be enough to see her through the challenges ahead.

Turning back to his work, Charlomaine made a mental note to keep a close eye on Charlie's progress with the Happy Hotel. If anyone could bring a glimmer of hope and change to Hell, it was her. But he would be ready to step in if things went awry, because in Hell, even the best intentions could lead to the darkest of consequences.

As Charlie was going to the hall of Charlomaine castle as he did, she pumped into some and fell down as she grabbed, she looked at who it was.

Hakuno looked at Charlie. Oh sorry about Charlie what brings you here

Charlie looked up, a bit startled but quickly recognizing Hakuno. She smiled warmly as she got to her feet with Hakuno's help.

"It's alright, Hakuno. I was just leaving my brother's room," Charlie replied, dusting herself off. "I wanted to talk to him about my new project, the Happy Hotel."

Hakuno raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Happy Hotel? What's that about?"

Charlie beamed, clearly excited to share her idea. "It's a place where demons can come to seek redemption and hopefully change their ways. I know it sounds a bit out there, but I really believe it's possible."

Hakuno gave her a thoughtful look. "It's certainly an ambitious project, especially considering the nature of this place. But if anyone can pull it off, it's you."

Charlie's smile widened. "Thank you, Hakuno. That means a lot. I know it won't be easy, but I have to try."

Hakuno nodded. "Well, you have my support. If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask."

"I appreciate that," Charlie said gratefully. "Actually, if you have any advice or ideas, I'd love to hear them. This is all still in the planning stages."

Hakuno thought for a moment. "Maybe start by finding a few demons who are open to the idea of redemption. If you can show that it's possible, others might be more willing to give it a chance. And make sure to have a solid security plan in place. Not everyone will be on board with this, and you'll need to be prepared for resistance."

Charlie nodded, taking mental notes. "That's a great idea. Thank you, Hakuno. I'll definitely keep that in mind."

Hakuno smiled. "Anytime, Charlie. Good luck with your project."

As they parted ways, Charlie felt a renewed sense of determination. With Hakuno's support and advice, she felt more confident in her ability to make the Happy Hotel a reality. She knew it wouldn't be easy, but with hard work and perseverance, she was determined to bring a little bit of hope and change to Hell.

Hakuno after a while went into Charlomaine room, as he was still working, being old enough for a long time life has more paper works, especially sense in the future he will be doing that in the future

Hakuno looked at her boyfriend. Can I come in

Charlomaine looked up from his papers. Yes.

Hakuno entered the room and looked at him. What do you really think of redemption why don't you believe in it

Charlomaine set his pen down and leaned back in his chair, contemplating Hakuno's question. He knew this was a topic that ran deep in his experiences and beliefs, and explaining it wouldn't be simple.

"Hakuno," he began, his voice measured and thoughtful, "it's not that I don't want to believe in redemption. In theory, it's a beautiful concept. The idea that anyone, no matter how far they've fallen, can change and become better. But Hell... Hell is different."

He paused, searching for the right words. "I've seen countless demons, over centuries, who have embraced their darker natures fully. Down here, those who hold power, those who survive, often do so by leaning into their most sinister instincts. Redemption, in this environment, is almost like trying to grow a flower in a desert."

Hakuno listened intently, her expression pensive. "But doesn't everyone deserve a second chance? Isn't there a way to create an environment where change is possible?"

Charlomaine sighed. "Maybe. But it's not just about deserving a second chance. It's about whether they genuinely want it, and whether they have the strength to fight against their nature and the environment around them. Here, cruelty and power rule. Compassion and kindness are seen as weaknesses. For many demons, the path to redemption is so obscured by the darkness around them that they can't even see it, let alone walk it."

Hakuno approached his desk, resting her hand on it as she spoke softly. "But if someone can show them the way, guide them and support them... wouldn't that make a difference?"

Charlomaine looked into her eyes, seeing the hope and determination there. "Maybe," he conceded. "Charlie believes it. She has a light that many of us have lost, or never had. If anyone can create a spark of change, it might be her. But it will be an uphill battle, and not all will be willing to follow her path."

Hakuno smiled gently. "I think it's worth trying, though. Even if just a few demons can find redemption, it could be the start of something bigger. And with support from those who believe in her, like you and me, she might just make a difference."

Charlomaine nodded slowly. "You're right, Hakuno. We shouldn't dismiss the possibility without giving it a chance. I'll keep an open mind and support Charlie as best as I can. But I'll also prepare for the challenges that will undoubtedly come."

Hakuno reached out and took his hand. "That's all we can do. One step at a time, we'll see what happens."

Charlomaine squeezed her hand gently. "Thank you for reminding me of the importance of hope, Hakuno. Sometimes, amidst all the darkness, it's easy to forget."

Hakuno then looked at Charlomaine. What is goal

Charlomaine just looked at her. To make everyone in hell happy to make them all smile

Hakuno just narrowed her eyes. Do you hear your self your Hypocrite for saying that.

Charlomaine and looked at her. My dream is much more easier, over the center's in hell I have lived and seen I have made Changes, to hell that makes everyone, happiness is much more easier to understand and get then what Charlie

Hakuno took a deep breath, her eyes locked onto Charlomaine's. "I get it," she said softly, "you've seen things I can't even imagine. But isn't happiness and redemption two sides of the same coin? Can you really make people happy without giving them a chance to change, to find redemption?"

Charlomaine sighed, leaning back in his chair. "Maybe you're right, Hakuno. Maybe they are connected. But my approach has always been pragmatic. I focus on tangible changes—improving living conditions, ensuring safety, creating opportunities for demons to thrive in their own way. Happiness, as I see it, is about making life better in concrete ways."

Hakuno shook her head slightly. "Concrete changes are important, but so is hope. So is the belief that one can be more than what they were. Charlie's vision is ambitious, but it's also inspiring. She wants to give demons something more profound than just better conditions—she wants to give them a chance to redefine themselves."

Charlomaine looked down, contemplating her words. "I understand your point. But Hell is a place built on sin and power. Changing that fundamental nature... it seems almost impossible."

"Almost," Hakuno echoed. "But not entirely. If anyone can do it, it's someone who believes in it as strongly as Charlie does. And with your support, her chances increase. You don't have to abandon your approach, Charlomaine. But maybe you can complement it with hers. Together, you might create a Hell that's both better and redemptive."

Charlomaine nodded slowly, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Alright, Hakuno. I'll support Charlie's vision. I'll help her in any way I can. But I'll also continue my own work to make Hell a more bearable place. Maybe, just maybe, we'll find a balance that works."

Hakuno smiled, a mix of relief and determination in her eyes. "That's all I ask, Charlomaine. Together, we can strive for a Hell where demons find both happiness and hope."

Charlomaine squeezed her hand gently. "Thank you for challenging me, Hakuno. Sometimes, we all need a reminder of the bigger picture."

As they sat there, hand in hand, they both knew the path ahead would be difficult. But with determination and unity, they were ready to face whatever challenges Hell had to offer.
