Commissioner Dale scampered out of the empty building in a fit of precision and quietness, something he had honed over the years in the force. He raced down the emergency exit staircase cautiously. He had gotten his hands on two guns, but that didn't help ease the dread he felt deep within.
He took the flight down, taking two steps at a time with his back leaning against the wall and guns drawn. Safety was off. He had barely managed to land on the tenth-floor flight of stairs when the first shot rang out above him. "YOU CAN'T HIDE OR RUN FROM ELIMINATION!"! Hollands shouted in glee, his voice echoing all around the stairs. Dale felt fear and nervousness creep up but stopped it and allowed his rational mind to take control. He gathered speed despite his age and took the flight down three steps at a time. He hears a metallic clang and looks up. He's horrified.
