Xu Xiangyang awoke.
Opening his eyes, he was greeted by an expanse of white: walls, ceiling, all immaculately clean. Through the window, the bright daylight was blinding.
He struggled to turn his head, taking in his surroundings, and noticed that the bedding covering him was also white.
...A hospital?
The room was empty.
After lying in bed for a while, the sound of the door opening caught Xu Xiangyang's attention, and he turned to see a nurse entering.
Upon seeing Xu Xiangyang awake, the nurse hurriedly set down what she was carrying, respectfully said "Please wait a moment", and then rushed out.
A few minutes later, Li Hengshu and Zhou Xingjian entered.
