Chapter 4 - First day on the job

He was panting hard, running towards the castle. "I'm gonna be late, I'm gonna be late, I'm gonna be late." He dodged obstacles and made it just in time to join the others.

"So you girls should do your best, and you'll be happy in this kingdom, okay." "Ye,s sir," the girls replied as they marched into the castle, Draken following behind.

He walked up and about the castle, hallways looking for his mistress' room. He kept walking for about five nimixs before reaching a door. A door that seemed to call him. He gently knocked on the door. "Come in," a cute voice said. He opened the door to see his mistress wearing a cloak sitting at the edge of the window and looking out into the distance. "Good morning, princess," he greeted. She didn't reply. "Princess, please, I'm supposed to help you prepare for today." "No. I'm not going anywhere today." "Won't you have your princess friends over for a party or something?" he asked. "No..." "Why not?" Draken asked. "Because I..., I..., I don't have any friends." Draken just looked at her with the same face he looked at Achilles with. He walked over and sat by her. "Sorry." "It's nothing, Draken." "You still remember my name?" Draken said in surprise. She just shrugged. The duo watched the sun rise over the horizon. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" Estelle asked. "Yeah, it is." "Princess, can I be your friend?" "Huh?" "I said can I be your first friend?" "Okay, but I might be bad at this, so please forgive me if I do something, okay?" "Don't worry. I will be okay with anything." They stared at the sunrise until the princess decided to get ready.

"Can you please pick the dress I'll wear today?" "Yes, princess. You go take your bath." Estelle went into a room. "This has been good so far," Draken said as he opened the wardrobe. "What in Lumina's bright name?" The wardrobe was fully packed with attires for every event. Draken picked a soft golden blouse with subtle embroidery and a flowing skirt. An emerald tiara with some flat shoes, and a pair of gloves. As he laid the dresses on the bed, Estelle walked out of the room she'd entered earlier. Draken turned to look at her. She was wearing a nightgown. Draken looked at he, and she looked different than before she entered the room. Her wet blonde hair flowed to her back, almost reaching her waist. Her light blue eyes shimmered in the sunlight. "Why. What's wrong?" Estelle asked. "N..., nothing." "Anyway, I picked out your dress." "Thank you." "I'll go out for you to dress up."

"Hello, dirty cheat," one of the two girls said as they passed Estelle's door. "Or should I say Hysteria's young l..." "Shh. I left that behind." "Now, no one is above anybody here," said the other girl. "We're at the same level now." "Draken... please come in," Estelle called. "Draken, please come in," the first girl mimicked. Draken ignored them and went back in.

When he entered the room, he almost got blinded by the light reflecting off her dress. "Do I look okay?" she asked. Draken walked over to her and adjusted her tiara. "You look perfect," he said, wiping her blouse sleeves. Estelle looked into his eyes and her into hers. His green eyes twinkled as did hers. His brown hair glittered as the sun shone bright on it. As they stared into each other's eyes, they felt as if they were in their world. The wind blew gently through the window and blew through their dress. They were lost in their world, standing and staring into each other's eyes as if they'd been frozen. This continued for a few nimixs until they heard a knock on the door.

"Princess please it's time for your breakfast. The king awaits you." "Okay Draken, I"ll see you later." "See you later princess," he said as he sat on the window with his face looking out towards the city.

"So, Ruby, Remi, Estelle, Beckett, what do you think about your new servers?" the king asked as the family started eating. "Ozzy, no talking while eating." "Okay, honey. After eating then we'll discuss that." After about thirty nimixs, the family of five had finished eating. "So, girls and boys, what do you think about your new servers?" "I don't care about them," Ruby said with apathy. "They're okay, I guess," Remi said. "You still miss him, don't you?" She didn't respond, so the king left it at that. "How about you, Estelle?" "Mmm, huh? What did you say, father?" Estelle said as she snapped out of her daydream. "Young lad,y have some manners. Sorry, Mother." "Oh Estelle, don't get it over yourself. I was just asking what you think about your new server." "He's okay, I guess."

"Wait, he, he. You get the chance to choose a personal server for our daughter, and you choose a guy? And how did he get appointed to a job that is supposed to be for a lady? I've told you to change that method of appointment, but you don't listen."

"Sweetheart, calm down," King Ozzy said as he held his wife. "I'm fine, this is fine. Okay, Ozzy, I'm giving you three options. It's either you change that person, whoever it I, or you castrate him cleanly." "Sweetheart, don't you think that is too harsh?" "Let me finish." "The third option is that if that peasant comes into my daughter, I will have him publicly executed, and I will personally kill you myself." "Okay, sweetheart," the king said as he rose to leave. "Oh, and Estell, please go to the training arena for your training." "Yes, father."

Estelle entered her room causing Draken to causing Draken to snap out of his trance. She threw herself on the bed. "What's wrong, ng princess?" "I have ten nimixs to prepare for my training." "And...?" "I don't want to go. Those things bore me to death." "Tell me about it," Draken said. "What did you say?" "Noth, ing princess."

'Knock, knock'

"Princess Estelle, please, you're needed in the training room."

"I'll be there." "Well, I'll see you later, Draken." "See you too, princess." When she got to the door, she turned and asked, "Can you accompany me to the training room?" "Okay, princess, let's go," Draken said, outstretching his hand as the princess took it.

After five aethons and watching how bad Estelle was, a messenger called for lunchtime. "May we go, prince..." "NO!!!" Estelle shouted. "No. Stay here. I'll be back here after lunch, okay?" Draken bowed his head, and the princess left.

After about forty-five nimixs, Estelle walked in, but the face she went with was not the face she came back with. "What's wrong, princess?" "My mother wants to see you." "And what's wrong with that?" "You do not understand, Draken. My mother does not like you." "It's nothing, princess. I'll be ready for her." Estelle called it a day and went to her room with her servant.

"So, what did you think about my training today?" "Princess, in all honesty, and I'm being honest, you were really bad." "What?" "Your trainer just didn't want to lose his head." "So, why don't you train me?" "Okay, I will."

"

So first things first use formal titles like "Your Grace," "Your Highness," or "Your Serene Highness," depending on his or her specific rank and realm.

For bowing or courtesy, being low and graceful is mandatory upon meeting a prince. You also repeat the gesture when departing or at significant moments in the interaction.

Next, do not use direct touch. Do not attempt to shake hands or make physical contact unless invited to do so.

Demonstrate humility through your tone, posture, and expressions. Speak softly and wait for him to address you before speaking.

Also, avoid direct eye contact.

Use polite,e formal speech. Address him or her with reverence and do not interrupt him or her when he or she speaks.

Always stick to courtly topics. Discuss matters of art, religion, or court politics if permitted. Avoid personal or sensitive topics unless the noble brings them up.

Always wear a modest gown with a ruff or headdress, ensuring it aligns with the occasion. But I'll take care of the so you do not have to worry.

Wait for the prince to be seated and begin eating before you do. Do not speak during the meal.

Remain at a respectful distance unless summoned. Do not overshadow or draw attention away from him.

"

The two practiced for five aethons, and Estelle became a little bit better than before and just in time too because,

'Knock, knock'

"Princess Calantha, it's time for your dinner." "Okay, Draken, let's go."

"So you're the person who's supposed to be my daughter's slave?" Draken, who was on his knee with his head bowed, answered, "Yes, Your Highness, I am." "You see, Lysteria, I told you he was respectful." "Shut up, Ozzy!" "Ye,s hon. ey" "You look familiar; ar, it's like I know you from somewhere." "Maybe you saw him walking around today." "Hmm..., maybe," Lysteria said with suspicion. "But if you ever disrespect my daughter, you will lose your life. Do I make myself clear,r slave boy?" "Yes, your Highness." Lysteria turned and left without looking back. The two elder princesses also left, leaving the king and Estelle with Draken. "Ris,e boy, my wife is just scar, e,d but don't worry. Just be goodood and she'll become fond of you." "Thank you, Your Majesty." Estelle turned and went to her room.

'Ding, ding.'

"Oh, it's your working time is over so I will see you later young man." The king turned and left.

Draken turned and ran to Achilles's house. He followed the direction the woman the day before had given him. When he got there, he saw soldiers entering, with Achilles standing at the gate. He ran towards him and asked, "What's the hang, General?" "Something bad has happened, so no story tonight, okay?" "Yes, sir." Draken turned and went to the slave house to find a room for himself.
