At Daemon's question, Ryan raised his head to look at Isaac through the rearview mirror. The latter nodded at the unspoken question, before Ryan replied:
"Secured."
"Good."
Then Daemon said nothing more. It was Ryan who broke the silence after a moment:
"Found it. The car is stranded at an intersection, all doors closed, and no signs of an attack. It is not moving, but it had remained unscathed in the accident."

Daemon said nothing, on the other side, while Dinaia leaned over to look at the image on Ryan's screen. The quiet car amidst the chaos at the intersection in the video clawed at her heart as there was nothing to indicate Evelyn's status.
The police was barely arriving on site to maintain order and take measures to curtail the situation, while ambulances had still not arrived yet.
