Chapter 335 - 335. Little Groudon

Drake's ship was about to go out to sea again, so he gave Ash and the others a ride, taking them directly to their next destination on the journey without having to make any stops at nearby smaller islands.

"There it is, that's Wales Island!" Max stood on the bow of the ship with the ships strongman next to him, and he was the first to yell out as he saw the small island appearing on the sea surface in front of them. It was said to be one of the extremely few very rare island that still retains the natural ecology that it had in the ancient times.

Of course Ash and his party had no plan to miss out on such a island untouched by time.

"Maybe that's a very suitable place for my special training." May has really improved a lot now compared to even the last Pokémon Contest she was part of. Now she knows how to take the initiative to find opportunities for her own kind of special training. Moreover, she had also formed her own very unique style and doesn't need Ash to worry about how she will do anymore.

Saying goodbye to Drake and his crew, Ash took back his Milotic, Dragonair and Sharpedo that had been riding with them in the sea water, and first came to the Pokémon Center on the island.

And sure enough, there was a phone station here as well, it would be more weird if such a place didn't have one.

"Ash, where have you been? How come I couldn't contact you recently at all?" Professor Oak asked in extrem ecstasy as soon as the call went through to the other side.

"Professor, don't you remember you have the number to my multi-function PokéNav that Mr. Stone personally gave me? You can use battle paging to find me but you never do answer when I call you from there." Ash smiled bitterly, saying it almost exasperatingly. He always uses his multi-function PokéNave to communicate with his mother along the way, whenever he had the chance to.

In his last life, he left his mother and sister all alone, so he didn't want his new mother to worry about him at all.

His upgraded PikéNav had a paging function with the numbers of pretty much anyone he wanted, and it also had the rare video phone functionality.

"I know that, but this is just better!" Since Professor Oak left a message to all the Pokémon Centers in the Hoenn Region about telling Ash to call him, of course, it would not be as simple as just talking on the phone, it would be much more important than anything if that sort. "Ash, what's going on with this Ultra Ball you sent me?"

Professor Oak held the Ultra Ball that Ash had sent back a couple of days ago and asked Ash very seriously,

"How come this Ultra Ball doesn't respond when I'm trying to open it? There os obviously Pokémon inside of it, but it isn't allowing me to open it! Do you feel how I'm feeling right now!!? This is an ULTRA BALL that YOU sent me!! Meaning a Legendary Pokémon or something of sort, but I don't even know what's inside of it! Please end my suffering!" He said with literal tears in his eyes.

Ash and everyone chuckled at his words and pain, "So you really can't you open it?" Ash showed a little smile, "That little one was quite well-behaved before when he was with me."

"Alright, Professor, listen to what I say to you! You go outside and call my Tyranitar over to you, and I'll talk to this guy!" Ash said with a smile.

This was the very same Pokémon given to him by the super-ancient original Groudon, so he had to make sure everything was going smoothly.

Professor Oak quickly complied and stood next to Ash's gigantic Tyranitar, holding the Ultra Ball and asked, "Is the Pokémon you have here very big?"

"It's slightly more bigger than my Tyranitar." Ash said with a smile and looked at the Ultra Ball in front of him, "Ik gebied dy om wekker te wurden, lytse!" He said calmly and dominantly.

As soon as he finished speaking whatever he was saying, the Ultra Ball opened with a bright red flash, and a bulging red figure appeared in front of Tyranitar, Professor Oak and Tracey!

"GROU!"

Professor Oak was immediately shocked and fell on the ground when he saw and heard what he was looking at, "Groudon!"

"Groudon? You actually caught Groudon? How? When? Why?"

But after taking a closer look, Professor Oak stood up and looked at it for a while minute before he realized that this Groudon was indeed just a child like Ash told him it was. It was taller than he expected a young Groudon to be, it was over 3 meters tall. But this was still close to what he had believed to be the real Groudon's real height was! At that time, he only put in the date of the size of the Groudon in Pokédex because no one alive had seen a real Groudon and that was all left on t.

But Ash here casually caught one without him knowing it.

The young Groudon came out and looked around, and finally saw that his Trainer, Ash, was on the other side of the video phone screen through the window, and he actually waved his paw playfully, like a literal child.

Seeing this, Ash smiled and said to him carefully, "Groudon, you will be training with my Tyranitar, the big green girl next to you, for the time being, and be good to Tracey and Professor Oak, he can be a lot at times but he will genuinely take good care of you. Oh, and if you see a beautiful women, that would be my mother, be nice to her and let her pet you, okay?"

Ash saw his little Groudon nodding and walking to Tyranitars side, like a student standing next to their teacher. And Ash knew that it wouldn't take that long at all for his young Groudon to become stronger than his tank Tyranitar.

"Tracey, please do take good care of Professor Oak and my Pokémon's, talk to you guys later!" Ash was about to hang up the phone, but was stopped by Professor Oak just at the last time.

"Are you still planning to hide that last thing from me? Lance told me just last night that you have also managed to catch a (:$-&/)$/& Rayquaza! A Rayquaza, Ash! Do you hear me!?" He was once again back in his feet, using the last remainings of his energy to yell.

This was the main reason why Professor Oak left a message to find Ash across every single Pokémon Center across the Hoenn Region, asking Ash to send his Rayquaza back to him for a look over as he had never seen a real one before.

"That one... But, Rayquaza, he's straining with me, can't send him back to you!" Ash couldn't bear to let his Rayquaza, who doesn't have a carrying quota on him, go away from near him.

"Really? Please!!" Professor Oak didn't know what he was thinking, so he pulled out ten big guns. "You calmed down the crisis of the super ancient Pokémon's and managed to catch a Rayquaza and a Groudon. Of course I had already prepare a reward for you!"

"I sent him to you!"

Wouldn't it be so much simpler if he had said this earlier?

Ash immediately agreed to teleport his Rayquaza over to the Lab, and now he was happily looking forward to the reward he will be getting from Professor Oak, and by extension the Pokémon League Headquarters.

Speaking of them, they were really cheap in their ways, not even giving him more Ultra Balls.

Professor Oak has never let Ash down in this regard, Ash had always lived the Pokémon's he got from him.

Lapras was now following his older one to migrate and train, and Ash believed that when he returns, he will have grown very reliable in both strength and state of mind. Ash made sure on that with the Aura and Psychic Seal he placed on him.

His Growlithe has been training with his Entei and Houndoom since he was able to start training, and especially now after his training with the Jenny Family in their headquarters. Now his strength was improving crazily, even more than Ash could have expected. Ash was also planning to take him and use him in the upcoming Hoenn Region Ever Grande Conference to get more experience.

After all, it was hatched from the Pokémon Egg with the most potential in a very long time, so he made sure Growlithe reaches his peak before he evolves him into an Arcanine.

After hanging up the phone, he and the siblings met up with Brock again.

May was now training her Gorebyss on the beach. Their condition seemed to be in veyr good condition lately.

"Very good, Gorebyss, keep it that way!"

Along the way, May also asked her Gorebyss to try to get close with Ash's beautiful mutated Alpha Milotic and train with her and the others.

Although she couldn't even keep up with their intensity, it was still good enough for her to try to train to the extrem like all of Ash's Pokémon's willingly do.

"Ahh!"

At this moment, Max, who was collecting firewood in the forest to prepare for camping, screamed, and May and Brock hurriedly ran over to where they heard the scream come from, Ash just teleported to where he sensed Max and that thing, "What's wrong, Max? Are you okay?"

"I saw it!" Max finally came back to his senses after a few seconds, "Sis, Brock, Big Bro, I really saw it, it was a Cradily! Like the one from your Pokédexs"

Cradily was a Pokémon that had become extinct long ago because of unknown but natural causes.

"I did hear fossils of them before their evolution often being found around here, but them..." Brock expressed his disbelief.

But Ash believed in Max was telling them, he sensed a very old type of Aura coming of off this island the moment he landed here, even without the need to extend his Aura Sense outward. Additionally, he had already met many types of living fossil Pokémon from long ago.

Though he did wonder how that Cradily escaped from here so quickly despite the fact that he quite literally teleported here the moment he heard Max's scream of terror.

President Stone of the Devon Corporation was researching technology to resurrect fossil Pokémon's, same with some research place in the Kanto Region.

Ash was most determined to catch a good Aerodactyl for him, he believed that it was amongst the very few fossil Pokémon's that fit his character.

A mostly blue and slight shade of pink light flashed on his eyes and then his whole body, "Found it! Let's go, follow me!"

What Ash did was to mix his Aura Sense and Psychic Sense to cover the whole island with his power to find where the strongest signs of that energy was coming from, and he found it very quickly.

After passing through the forest, Ash led his group to a big house in the central part of the island.

Looking through the window, there were all kinds of high-tech instruments inside.

This was clearly a well established Laboratory.

Then, a Cradily actually managed to suddenly appear in front of the group.

"Cradily, great, you are finally here!" A young lady in research clothes ran out of the forest, the other way of where the group came from. Sure enough, this Cradily was the product of resurrection in this facility, who were also actively being funded by the Devon Corporation.

Brock's eyes immediately filled with hearts, "I never thought that there would be such a beautiful lady in a place like this! My name is Brock, and you can do any of your experiments on me—!"

The young lady's name was Annie Proctor. After everyone introduced themselves, she brought the group inside of their Laboratory. The researcher in charge of here was called Professor Proctor, who was also Annie's husband.

Brock's heart-broken dotted Spinda jumped out, and all the hearts in Brock's eyes suddenly shattered into a million separate pieces.

It can be seen that there are also several Lileep living here inside of their Laboratory. It was really a pleasure to see such Pokémon in todays era.

Suddenly, the lab equipments began to issue out loud alarm sounds, and Annie quickly began to check what was happening to it.

"One of our Anorith seems to be evolving right now!"

That Anorith really was emitting the light of evolution. This place has equipment to check literally anything .

After Anorith evolves, it becomes an Armaldo, who in turn becomes much taller and stronger. They have hard carapace and claws as sharp as sickles.

After evolving, theu look much more powerful, but this was also because its nature becomes more violent. As it looked left and right, it suddenly burst out and directed an attack towards Professor Proctor and the others!

"Ralts!"

Ash instantly called out, and Ralts instantly came in front of Professor Proctor and used her Psychic to block the incoming Water Gun. Behind them were various instruments, so

they couldn't be hit, if they were to be hit, it would all combust in a large explosion.

"Looks like this one forgot to be in line." Ash frowned. There were already too many examples of Pokémon's who would become disobedient after evolution, just like his own past Charmeleon and Charizard. "I'll get you under control first!"

"Dragonair, Blizzard!"

Throwing out Dragonair's Poké Ball, Ash instantly froze Armaldo in a thick case of hard and cold ice. After being looked carefully by Professor Proctor and Annie, they finally deduced that Armaldo was actually just hungry and throwing a tantrum, and was now insisting on eating fruits from ancient times.

What a kid!

Fortunately, Professor Proctor actually has this kind of fruit, and quickly solved the problem.

He said that he grew them from the seeds he found on this island.

Ash left his contact information to Professor Proctor. He was determined to get an Aerodactyl no matter what. So he wanted to get this fruit that his future Aerodactyl should liek. After catching it, he can call to get more.
