At the other end, Rosie caught on quickly, her pale eyes narrowed in concentration as she peered through the eye protection nestled on her face. The recoil was a little difficult to adjust to but she didn't give up, firing off three rapid shots before stopping, her wrists stinging.
"Ow," She muttered under her breath, waving her hands to ease some of the pain.
Ivan wore a look of amusement as he watched her, taking the gun from her to prevent her from waving it around. "You need a firm grip on the handle… or I could get you a handgun with less recoil?"
Rosie snatched the gun out of his hand, "I just need some practice," She said seriously, and she meant it.
By the time the short session was coming to a close, she had mostly adapted to the recoil, a self-accomplished smile on her face as she emptied the magazine with ease, keeping her empty gun in her tote bag.
"Why does a pretty lady like you need to learn to shoot a gun?" Ivan asked, they were more or less done for the day.
