After lunch, Andy left the Great Hall, found an unoccupied corner, used the Disillusionment Charm, and quietly left the castle.
Outside the castle, the magical barrier that had shrouded the entire Hogwarts had completely dissipated.
The young wizards were clustered around the professors, bombarding them with questions, accompanied by the occasional exclamation and gasp of surprise.
Andy avoided the crowd and went to the Forbidden Forest alone.
Spinner's End.
Pop!
The air crackled, and Andy's figure appeared out of thin air.
Spinner's End is a shabby suburb of Cokeworth, littered with rubbish and a foul-smelling river running nearby.
Rows of dilapidated brick houses lined one side of the street, with grimy windows, each looking desolate and abandoned.
At 23 Spinner's End, Andy knocked politely.
THUMP THUMP THUMP!
After a short wait, the door was opened from the inside.
Snape gave Andy a gloomy look. "Mr. Collins... if I remember correctly, Hogwarts is a boarding school."
"Yes! Your memory is not failing you."
Andy said with a smile, "It's a pity that you're not a Professor anymore; otherwise, you could definitely deduct 50 points for this."
"I would expel you!" Snape said gruffly, but his body slightly leaned to the side, hinting to Andy to hurry and go inside.
Now that he was already here, what could he do?
He is just a poor, weak, and helpless Profess-
Oh, well, not anymore.
"Professor Flitwick would never approve of that, nor would Professor McGonagall or Professor Dumbledore." Andy entered the house and chuckled at this.
"I am their favourite student!"
Snape: "…"
The dark room is furnished with nothing more than a battered sofa, an armchair, and a table. The walls are stacked with books, many of which are bound tightly with black leather straps.
Clearly, these books are dangerous.
You can tell they're dark magic books.
"There's nothing here to entertain you," Snape said curtly.
"Hm…"
Andy pondered for a moment, "I can see that clearly."
"And there's been no progress on that thing, either," Snape continued.
Andy nodded slightly at this.
Voldemort had only died a few days ago, and as an elite member of the Death Eaters, Snape obviously wouldn't have been idle in the past few days.
"And…"
Snape sat in an armchair and blandly told him, "In a few days, the Ministry of Magic will hold a trial against the Death Eaters, and I will have to testify."
Andy: "..."
Snape's meaning was clear—I don't have time!
"It's okay; I'm in no big hurry."
Andy sat on the sofa and looked at Snape and asked, "I came this time to talk to you about Professor Dumbledore."
Snape's pupils shrank slightly.
Collins... He wants to do something to Dumbledore?
No! If that were the case, he would have never come to see me.
So what is his goal?
In an instant, Snape's eyes became a little more vacant.
Andy's mouth twitched slightly at this as he continued, "Professor, you have known Dumbledore for decades. You have been his student, his enemy, his partner... Your relationship with him is very complicated."
"So..."
"What kind of person do you think Albus Dumbledore is?"
There was a pause, and then Andy said pointedly, "At Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore is a highly respected Headmaster. In the eyes of others, Albus Dumbledore is a respectable aged gentleman."
"However, no offence; I sometimes feel that Albus Dumbledore can be a tad…well…ruthless!"
"Forgive me for speaking ill of an old man."
Snape's expression did not change.
What kind of person is Dumbledore?
Undoubtedly, Snape trusted Dumbledore. But this question made Snape feel a little conflicted.
Because he couldn't answer this question for sure.
"Are you questioning Dumbledore?" Snape asked in return.
"Of course not!"
Andy said with a hand wave, "In fact, I don't care what kind of person Professor Dumbledore is. I just want to know. Well... I'm just a little curious, that's all."
Snape looked at Andy and said slowly, "Of course, you are allowed to view him however you like; it is your freedom."
"So, what about you?" Andy asked.
Snape was silent for a while, and his mind unconsciously recalled the bits and pieces of his time with Dumbledore.
Without a doubt, Dumbledore was a respectable figure in every way.
No one could find fault with him.
But...
As Andy said, there were times when Dumbledore did give the impression of being cold and merciless.
Perhaps he was just being rational.
But rationality inherently moves away from emotions.
A rational decision is, in fact, ruthless!
In that case, how could Dumbledore give the impression of being warm and caring?
It was very contradictory.
Snape still didn't answer, and he asked again, "Collins, what do you really want?"
Compared to the hazy and unfathomable Dumbledore, Andy in front of him was undoubtedly more dangerous in Snape's eyes.
"Professor, it seems you don't trust me very much," Andy asked.
Snape didn't say anything.
Wasn't this obvious?
Andy's attitude towards human life, even if the other party was a Death Eater, still made Snape feel a chill down his spine.
Because Andy is too young!
A young wizard in his teens can calmly raise his wand and kill someone without feeling even the slightest discomfort afterwards.
In this situation, it is not an exaggeration to say that he was born evil.
"Hmm..."
Andy pondered for a moment and said, "Professor, you should know that I am studying love. Of course, so is Professor Dumbledore."
Snape: "..."
With a smile, Andy continued, "Do you know about young Dumbledore?"
"He and Grindelwald set out to find the Deathly Hallows and wished to establish a new order in which wizards would rule over Muggles."
"Of course, we all know what happened next."
"Dumbledore gave up."
"He taught at Hogwarts for almost a hundred years... and you could even go so far as to say that all the wizards in the British wizarding world today are Dumbledore's students."
"I've made some interesting discoveries..."
Andy raised an eyebrow.
"Love and death are closely related but also completely opposite forces."
"Dumbledore chose love!"
"That's why he spent nearly a hundred years immersing his heart and soul to love the wizarding world."
"His feelings for the wizarding world were genuine; I never doubted that for a second!"
"But if I'm right..."
After a pause, Andy looked at Snape, who had a serious and surprised expression on his face, and continued, "If I'm right, Dumbledore is waiting for an opportunity to sublimate the 'love in his heart'."
"He will even die for this!"
