The guard at the door shifted nervously, glancing down the corridor where his friend had disappeared. Minutes passed, and there was still no sign of him. He murmured to himself, "What's taking him so long? Shouldn't take this long to check a door."
He took a cautious step forward, debating whether to go after him. But before he could make a decision, a shadow loomed behind him.
"Looking for someone?"
The guard froze at the sound of the voice, his blood running cold. Slowly, he turned his head and found himself face-to-face with Li Zhin, standing just inches away, a faint, unsettling smile on his lips.
Before the guard could even call for help, Li Zhin placed a firm hand on his shoulder, his grip icy and unyielding. "Don't worry," Li Zhin whispered, "you'll be joining him soon."
In a swift, silent motion, the guard's world faded to black, his body crumpling lifelessly to the ground as Li Zhin moved on, his presence undetected and his path clear.
