"I'll go! This yokai sounds like a real threat, and I won't stand by while it terrorizes this land. Besides… I wouldn't want to miss out on a real challenge, now would I?"
Akiko stared at him, a surprised look on her face. "Alex…" she began, concern flickering in her eyes. This was a legendary yokai, a creature of immense power.
Angelina, her terror momentarily forgotten, echoed Akiko's sentiment. "Are you sure? This is no ordinary yokai, Alex. It could be extremely dangerous."
Alex held their gaze, his expression resolute. "I understand the risk, But someone has to stop it. And besides, didn't you say this thing was a giant skeleton? I want test my power to that sekeleton."
Angelina, seeing his resolve, nodded slowly. "Well then, if you want to be stubborn about it… I can't fight it directly since my power affects oxygen, which Yokai presumably don't need. But… I can help a bit, I guess."
