Chen Zhi rose to pick up the phone, and Si Ye's voice came through with a laugh, "Did you see the gift I sent you?"
"I did, it crawled onto my bed, and it almost scared me. Why didn't you give me a heads-up?"
"Isn't it a nice surprise? Do you like it?"
Chen Zhi nodded with a smile, "I like it. It's eating right now, looking very cute. I've even given it a name."
"What did you call it?" Si Ye asked with interest.
"Tuanzi."
"..." A quiet chuckle came through the line, and Chen Zhi knew he would tease her.
"It looks exactly like a tuanzi, how is that not a cute name?"
"It's lovely, a name picked by my wife must be lovely. Alright, from now on we'll call it Tuanzi." Si Ye's voice still carried a hint of laughter.
Chen Zhi chatted with him for a bit more before hanging up. Tuanzi had finished eating and was circling her feet, happily yapping and lavishing her with affection.
