After they got married, Gong Heng set aside his work and began taking Mu Mian on trips. Mu Mian had mentioned that she wanted a child.
And once she had a child, traveling would no longer be appropriate.
So, they decided to travel first!
This time, Mu Mian truly broadened her horizons. He took her to see mountains, deep seas, snowy peaks, and amber. They went to the summit of the world, even to the endpoint of the Tropic of Cancer. She had wanted to climb Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world, but Gong Heng had adamantly refused.
Even though Mu Mian was curious, Mount Everest was still out of the question—it was too much of a challenge.
Moreover, Mu Mian was too delicate; she simply couldn't withstand the winds at the mountaintop.
Gong Heng was always considerate and decisive in his actions. He took her to places she had never seen before, but that didn't mean he would let her do things beyond her capabilities.
Everything had to be within reason.
