Ning Xia closed her eyes briefly, gathered her thoughts, and carefully considered the words she wanted to say. She then smoothed her hair, straightened her garments, and walked towards the door of the resting room.
A soldier with an expressionless face stopped her, "Entry is not allowed here, please leave."
"I am Ning Xia, I need to see Bo Siyan. Please, could you inform him?"
The soldiers close to Bo Siyan mostly recognized her, and even if they didn't, they had heard of her name. After all, the assistant had once widely proclaimed that the Colonel was no longer single, having been captured by Ning Xia.
The two soldiers exchanged a look, and one of them slightly raised his head politely, "Then please wait a moment."
After speaking, he turned and entered.
About a minute later, he returned and made a gesture to allow her entry, "Miss Ning, please come in."
"Thank you."
Ning Xia pursed her lips lightly, took a deep breath, and then stepped inside.
