"What's going on today? You're not talking, eerily quiet." After being busy for a while, Mrs. Xu felt something was amiss.
Yan Yinuo held a small bowl of mango, forked a piece, and brought it to Mrs. Xu's mouth, smiling and saying, "I haven't seen grandma for so long, I just couldn't help but want to listen more to grandma's voice."
"Not seeing me, now who is the one without a conscience?" Mrs. Xu feigned anger, but Yan Yinuo just lowered her head and smiled.
Yet that smile seemed more and more forced as it quickly spread.
"It won't be like this in the future."
"Seeing that you are still sensible, I forgive you," Mrs. Xu snorted coldly, right as the cook announced that dinner was ready.
"Let's go together, your little uncle is not coming back, just the two of us will eat."
Yan Yinuo's gaze flickered, as most of the time recently, Zijin had been returning to the Xu Family, as to why he wasn't coming back now, she did not know.
