Chapter 28 - Chapter 28: A Harsh Revelation

Harry's heart pounded with a mixture of anger, confusion, and betrayal as he listened to the guards' words. The mention of Hermione's name coupled with the revelation of her impending marriage to Lord Alexander sent waves of disbelief crashing over him.

"What do you mean, 'future wife'?" Harry demanded, his voice quaking with emotion. "Hermione is not just some prize to be won in a marriage ceremony!"

The guards cowered before Harry's wrath, their eyes downcast as they struggled to find the right words to appease him. With trembling voices, they explained the ancient prophecy that foretold the union of the strongest male and female as a means to bring about peace and prosperity in the face of chaos and destruction.

Harry's fists clenched at his sides, his mind racing with thoughts of Hermione and the life they had once shared. Though he had always known that their relationship was complicated, he never imagined that she would be betrothed to another, especially under such dire circumstances.

As the reality of the situation sunk in, Harry felt a surge of anger and betrayal welling up within him. How could Hermione agree to such a union without even consulting him? Did their bond mean nothing to her?

But amidst the tumult of his emotions, a sense of determination took hold of Harry's heart. If Hermione truly was the strongest female, then he would do whatever it took to prove himself worthy of her love and respect, even if it meant facing off against Lord Alexander himself.

With a steely resolve burning within him, Harry vowed to confront Hermione and Lord Alexander, to challenge the very foundations of the prophecy that threatened to tear them apart. And as he set out towards the heart of the city, his mind filled with thoughts of the woman he loved, he knew that the path ahead would be fraught with danger and uncertainty, but with the strength of his convictions guiding him, he would face it head-on, ready to fight for the future he believed in.
