Emrys has to say that although Soul Lantern was powerful, it did not satisfy his needs. In fact, it did not satisfy him at all.
Moreover, he was not satisfied with learning just one Soul Skill. He wanted to learn more about Soul Skills, not for anything; just to gain more knowledge so that he could create his own Soul Skill. He wanted to create a soul skill so powerful that it does not lose out to those skills ranking on top even in the Vast Expanse of Eternity.
After learning Soul Lantern, he walked further into the ninth floor of the Astral Soul Tower and began unfolding one scroll after another. Some were sealed with strong restrictions. Others were protected by glowing formations. But none of these barriers could stop Emrys.
Just like before, as soon as he touched the scrolls, the restrictions vanished on their own.
