Chapter 1179 - Chapter 1073: The Beautiful Ladies Don't Want Their Boyfriends to Misunderstand!_1

Two beauties, one tall, one short, stood at the airport.

They looked utterly distraught.

They flew to Sichuan Province Airport a day early to surprise a man, ready to greet him as he disembarked the plane.

But instead, the man took a private fighter jet straight to school?

Dressed in white thigh-high stockings, Lolita fashion, the pretty young Jia Lan pursed her red lips, "As expected, does poverty limit our sisters' imagination?"

Qin Lan humphed at Luo Yu on the phone, "Since you've already arrived at school, then Lulu and I will just buy return tickets home."

Luo Yu wasn't a fool; he could clearly hear the sarcasm in her voice.

If he really let the two women go back, what would that say about his EQ.

"Don't go back, I'm coming to pick you guys up," Luo Yu said, "I'm not familiar with Sichuan Province either, we can explore it together."

"Hmph! Who wants to go around with you," Qin Lan curled her red lips, but actually, she was already swayed, though she maintained a proud tone.

No sooner had she finished speaking than a weak voice came from beside her.

"I'll accompany him."

"That's why we love our Lulu, worth every bit of affection. I'll be there soon," Luo Yu chuckled, grabbing his car keys and heading for the garage.

After hanging up the phone, Qin Lan glared at the young beauty beside her, frustrated at her naivety.

"Lulu, just look at your pathetic self!"

"Do your legs turn to jelly every time you see a man?"

Jia Lan corrected with aggrieved innocence, "It's not any man that makes my legs weak, it's just that I can't stay upright when I see Luo Gongzi."

"What rubbish!" Qin Lan gritted her teeth, "What kind of talk is that? It's so spiritless."

"It's just a man!"

Jia Lan looked at Qin Lan with pleading eyes, "Sister Qin Lan, didn't you also fly a thousand miles to Sichuan Province just to pick up a man?"

Qin Lan's breath hitched, her expression froze.

Quickly, she reached out her hands to pinch Jia Lan's fair neck: "Alright, so you've started to mock your Sister Lan now, haven't you?"

"No, no," Jia Lan dodged backward, "I was simply speaking the plain truth."

The two great beauties' squabble truly attracted a lot of attention, and many men out with their girlfriends couldn't help but sneak glances toward them, reluctant to look away until they heard their girlfriends' snorts of disapproval.

"Lulu, let's go to the entrance," Qin Lan said after a little while.

"Hmm?"

"This exit area is too big. If we're at the entrance, Luo Gongzi will be able to see us as soon as he comes in," Qin Lan explained.

"Oh—"

Jia Lan dragged out the sound, blinking her beautiful eyes playfully at the stylish woman.

After they arrived at the entrance, they looked forward expectantly, peering through the glass at the outside.

"Excuse me, may I disturb you for a moment?"

A magnetic male voice suddenly sounded from the side.

Qin Lan and Jia Lan turned to see a middle-aged man with slicked-back hair, dressed in a suit and shoes, exuding an air of maturity and sporting a Hercules watch on his wrist—a classic impression of a successful man, who was looking at them amiably.

Qin Lan pulled Jia Lan back and knitted her brows.

"We don't seem to know you, do we?"

The middle-aged man politely replied, "My apologies for the intrusion, but upon seeing the two of you with such good demeanor, I couldn't help wanting to get to know you both. Would you mind if..."

Jia Lan shook her head, cutting him off simply, "Not interested."

The middle-aged man was taken aback, not expecting such a decisive rejection.

He considered himself fairly attractive and now, with some success, was normally a catch as a diamond bachelor. He assumed that approaching two young women and adding a contact would pose no issue, but he got shot down right from the start.

"May I ask what I did wrong, or have I offended you in some way? Or is it that..." He was somewhat unwilling to accept this, as compared to the women he had courted before, the temperament and beauty of these two exceeded that of any ordinary women, they were truly outstanding.

Qin Lan also ran a company, so she had an eye for people.

At first, she thought this man seemed quite polite.

But now that she and Jia Lan had made it clear they didn't want to talk to this man, and he still didn't leave immediately—that was enough to show that despite being polite, there wasn't much of it.

"We're waiting for our boyfriends. If they see you here, they'll get jealous," Qin Lan gave a cold look, rejecting him outright.

Faced with rejection by the sophisticated woman, the middle-aged man's ego seemed wounded. Accustomed to success, he didn't want to just swallow the bitter pill of a failed flirtation. So what if they had boyfriends? Considering the women's young age, their boyfriends were probably just students—a far cry from a successful, mature man like him.

"It's just making friends. By chance, I have some connections in Sichuan Province, which might help in case you or your little boyfriends encounter trouble. I believe your boyfriends wouldn't be jealous, probably it's only boys who get jealous over nothing," he remarked.

Qin Lan and Jia Lan were beginning to look upset.

Initially, out of politeness, although they disliked the man, they refrained from showing it. Now, being pestered repeatedly, they were getting annoyed.

Qin Lan said, "Whether my boyfriend gets jealous isn't actually important. What's important is, I don't want to make him jealous because I care about his feelings. So please stay away from us."

The middle-aged man's face turned awkward, not expecting that the usual approach he took with young girls wouldn't work this time.

"You're so annoying. We don't even know you, why are you hitting on us out of nowhere?" Jia Lan was not polite in her words anymore and cut straight to the chase.
