Rain-soaked, they returned home, took showers, changed clothes, and drank some ginger tea, which soon had them feeling warmth return to their bodies.

Bai Lu looked up, saw his cold expression, took the pills and water, and under his gaze, swallowed the medicine with water.
Manman, feeling her hair nearly dry, turned off the hair dryer, climbed down from the bed, and went to find her husband; essentially, she wanted to give her brother and future sister-in-law some privacy. Just as she reached the door, her brother called out, "Where are you going?"
"I'm going to sleep next door," Manman said.
"Sleep here," her brother said firmly.
