For anyone else, Nell would have simply felt a twinge of envy and left it at that, but with her sister Regina, envy was accompanied by an itch to make a move.
She wanted to improve too!

Nell was unaware of Regina's situation, and the latter did not disclose her tragic death. One desired to become a secretary, the other staunchly refused and wouldn't agree to anything; the sisters' little boat was tottering on the verge of capsizing.
Regina was of course willing to help her sister, but as a Resentful Spirit, her circumstances couldn't be replicated. What could she do? She surely couldn't kill her sister with her own hands, torturing her to death with resentment in her heart, right?
Without becoming a Resentful Spirit, there were only two ways for Nell to advance: one was to follow Saina's path, the other was to follow the path of wings.
