There it goes again. In a very ordinary apartment building, it was time to make lunch, so many housewives were busily coming and going with their shopping bags, ready to go home and cook for their husbands and children. But on the third floor, where a new resident had recently moved in, it was exceptionally lively.
A crisp voice, as clear as a nightingale's, indignantly said, "Goudan, I cook every day. If you don't cook today, you can forget about having dinner." She was truly grateful to the person who had saved her; after all, she had previously relied on her own cunning to threaten others, yet not only had they not held it against her, they had saved her and given her a roof over her head. Even if she was selfish, she knew this was a tremendous favor; she had to repay their kindness.
