Since we left the two of them behind, that meant that we didn't have a guide for this Four River City.
We had been planning on exploring Four River City, but naturally it was hard without a guide.
That was why I pulled one of the kids that had been wandering around on the street over and tossed a spirit jade over to him, "Show me around the best places in the city."
The kid's eyes immediately lit up and he nodded in agreement before leading the way.
This kid was one of the orphans of Four River City, it was clear based on the way that he was dressed and how he was just wandering around in the streets.
So he was more than happy to guide us.
Of course, I could have given him more than just a single spirit jade, but I knew that if I were to give him more, it was likely that he would have been robbed. It wasn't that I wasn't acting like a prodigal young master, it was just that it took time for things like this.
It depended on the right opportunity.
