Chapter 6 - The Trials (Part 1)

Since Chorina went up to talk with Ozpin and everyone began shuffling back into their rooms, night had eventually begun to finally give way to day as everyone was sleeping.

BGM - Song of Healing (Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask)

Team JNPR were sleeping casually as Nora was loudly snoring.

The same case with teams CFVY and SSSN, but not for Team RWBY, for only one member of that team was awake by this point.

Weiss was sleeping soundly, as was Blake. Yang was snoring away with her arms stretched out, but Ruby was wide-awake on her bed, eyes gazing up at the ceiling, expecting nothing.

She looked at the Omnitrix on her wrist, thinking back to Omni's episode on the day they first met, and how it could relate to her recommending Ruby as a potential candidate for the Omnitrix and its usage. 'Could me just wanting to help people… really be that good a reason for me to hold onto the Omnitrix?' Ruby thought to herself as she looked out the window and saw the sun rising.

Eventually, an alarm clock in their room went off at 7:30 AM sharp, causing Weiss and Yang to groan in their sleep as they seemed to want to sleep more, and Blake to duck her head and cat ears under her pillow. Ruby herself, being wide-awake at this point, simply got out of bed and hit the snooze button on the alarm.

End BGM

"You heard the alarm, girls. Time to wake up." Ruby said as cheerfully as she could with a clapping of her hands.

Omni's holographic form materialized by the Omnitrix as she let out a yawn from having just disabled sleep mode. "Good morning, Ruby. Are you doing alright?" Omni asked through what seemed to be tiredness.

Weiss rubbed her eyes tiredly before looking at her team's leader. "Ruby, you're up already?" She asked Ruby.

"Actually, I've... been up for a while now." Ruby answered awkwardly.

That snapped Omni out of what tiredness she felt, as she hovered up to Ruby's face. "Is something so wrong that it kept you awake all night?" Ruby looked away for a moment.

"Not the whole night, I was able to get SOME sleep at least. I just woke up about… I dunno, an hour ago?" Ruby answered.

"Did it have something to do-" Blake's conjecture was silenced as the four of them heard a knocking come from the door of their dorm room.

That snapped everyone out of their tiredness as Yang spoke up. "Is anyone expecting somebody?" She asked expecting no answer.

Ruby went to the door and opened it up to see… "Chorina?" Ruby said in response to seeing the creator of the Omnitrix literally at her team's doorstep. "What're you doing here?" She asked, causing a smirk to form on Chorina's face.

"Hmph. Well good morning to you as well, Miss Rose." Chorina sarcastically responded as she tipped her head in a greeting.

"Oh, uh… sorry, Chorina. Good morning." Ruby said with a light bow of her head. That got Chorina to chuckle in response as she held her hand over her mouth.

"Relax, Ruby. You're fine. I just wanted to stop by and see how you four have been doing since yester-." Chorina said as she walked into their room, only to be met with the sight of the improvised bunk beds.

Ruby closed the door behind her as her team was now fully awake at this point. She then realized what Chorina was looking at. "Yeah. We… kinda brought a lot of stuff to our dorm and we didn't have enough room for it all, so… we improvised by turning our beds into bunk beds." Ruby awkwardly said.

Chorina was deep in thought. 'How have these "bunk beds" not collapsed yet? I really need to find the time to get them better bedding before someone eventually gets hurt.'

Chorina snapped out of her thoughts upon Weiss answering her previous question. "Anyway, everyone slept well, except Ruby, who seemed to have woken up quite a while ago or something."

"I think I heard some mumbling from Ruby's bed, but I just wanted some sleep of my own after all that happened yesterday." Blake added.

"Yeah. Those bounty hunters hit like a damn truck. I don't even think I got a chance to use my Semblance on them." Yang answered.

Chorina nodded. "Perfectly understandable. I get that yesterday was easily one of the most stressful days of your lives. It was your first time encountering extraterrestrial life, after all." She said with a sigh. "If only we'd made it here first. Then that confrontation could've been avoided."

Omni hovered over the Omnitrix as she spoke to Chorina. "Mother, do not worry. The attack on the carrier ship must've resulted in a lot of damage being done. It makes sense why there'd be a delay of some kind in your arrival here." Omni said with a reassuring smile.

"I suppose, but still…" Chorina said before turning her head. "Then again, why I'm here isn't to contemplate on what could've been changed. I came here because I'd like to provide you four with some info on what's going to happen today." She stated, earning the girl's looks of confusion.

"What do you mean by that?" Weiss asked as Chorina took a deep breath.

(2 hours later…)

BGM - Keves Colony (Day) (Xenoblade Chronicles 3)

Team RWBY had teams JNPR, CFVY, and SSSN in their dorm room all at once to tell them what they had learned from Chorina. It was cramped in the room due to there being sixteen of them total, but it was worth the trouble as Team RWBY told the other teams what Chorina told them.

"A meeting in the assembly hall is being held today?" Coco asked in light shock.

"Yeah. Chorina said that she didn't want to give too many details to us directly, but there's going to be a big meeting with Ozpin speaking to clarify what had happened yesterday." Blake answered.

"That could be a problem…" Scarlet said with Sage nodding.

"No kidding, especially since the only ones who know about the truth outside of Oz, Glynda, the general, Team CRDL, along with that Team WVRN apparently, and us." Jaune said as he began to worry about what could happen.

"With so many people knowing about aliens and the Omnitrix already, who knows what could happen?" Ren wondered.

"No kidding…" Nora said before a thought crossed her mind. "What do you guys think Ozpin is gonna say at the assembly hall?" She asked.

"My guess is that the events of yesterday are gonna be cleared up." Velvet noted.

"But the question is…" Weiss paused as she lightly gulped. "How is he gonna do that?" Weiss's question made everyone go silent.

"Well… It's not like we're gonna be brought up at the assembly. Not by name, or even by that recording Cardin had taken." Yatsu said as Fox nodded.

"Why do you sound so sure?" Sun asked, uncertain if that's the right train of thought to be on.

That was when Omni hovered up to Ruby's shoulder. "No. That's pretty accurate. Ozpin showing and telling everyone at Beacon about the fact that you guys fought aliens would do more harm than good." Omni said analytically. "The people of your world aren't ready to know about life outside of it yet, but as things are now, if they don't know the truth… It could damage Beacon's credibility."

Pyrrha gasped at the logic. "And if people find out on their own that Beacon itself has been lying to them, that could stir up some panic and distrust." Pyrrha said in realization.

"And with panic, comes the Grimm." Ren said in a foreboding tone.

"So tell Remnant about aliens, or run the eventual risk of lives being lost." Blake stated.

"And the Grimm might show up anyway from the panic of knowing that there's aliens alone. Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place." Yang remarked.

Sage grit his teeth. "If this assembly goes wrong somehow, who knows what'll come about as a result of it?" He muttered as he rested his head on his right hand.

"When is this assembly happening anyways?" Nora asked, when suddenly…

End BGM

"Attention all students, please meet at the assembly hall in thirty minutes. Repeat, all students, please meet at the assembly hall in thirty minutes. You are free to bring any combat gear and armor should you feel uncomfortable given recent circumstances." The voice of Glynda Goodwitch echoed through the building's PA system.

"I guess we have our answer." Jaune said.

"We should probably get ready for the assembly. Everyone, be sure to have your weapons on standby. I've gotta check my gear just in case." Coco said as she and her team got up.

"We're gonna make sure of that too. See you at the assembly hall, guys." Sun said as his team shuffled out of Ruby's dorm room.

All that remained were Teams RWBY and JNPR. "I guess… we should get going as well, huh?" Nora asked awkwardly.

"I- I mean, if you want to stay, we could just… talk about something." Blake offered.

"Oh come on! What could we have to talk about now?" Weiss asked.

That was when Jaune raised his hand. "There… IS one thing I was thinking of, admittedly." Jaune said.

"What is it?" Ruby asked as even his teammates wondered what he could have to say.

"Omni, can you bring up the info on certain aliens as Ruby cycles through them?" Jaune asked the Omnitrix's AI.

"Ummm… Yeah, obviously, why do you ask?" Omni wondered.

"I had a thought about our last fight and how Ruby was using the Omnitrix to end it." Jaune answered. "Here's what I was thinking…" Jaune went on about his thoughts.

(40 minutes later…)

Thirty minutes after the PA announcement, and ten minutes after students from all over Beacon started shuffling into the assembly hall, Teams RWBY, JNPR, CFVY, and SSSN were all situated in their positions.

"Welp… here we go…" Yang muttered as she was tapping her feet on the floor.

"I hope things go well." Ruby added as she felt a tap on her shoulder.

"You're telling us." Ruby recognized the voice and turned around with her teammates to find…

"Winona… and Team WVRN?" Ruby remarked, catching the rest of her own team's attention.

"That team you told us about yesterday?" Weiss asked her leader as Ruby nodded.

"Glad to finally meet you four properly. I'm Winona Draconis." Winona introduced herself.

"Hi there. I'm Marle Vixen. Nice to meet you." Marle followed up.

"Nero Kusho." Nero introduced himself as Rex leaned against his shoulder.

"And I'm Rex Talos. Good to finally see you four. Big fan of yours by the way, Yang." Rex said as he pointed a finger gun at her.

"Oh. Thanks… I guess." Yang said, unsure of how to feel.

"Oh come on. Lighten up, you guys. We're not your enemies." Marle said as Winona spoke up.

"Yeah. We can promise you we won't do anything bad to you OR your friends." She said as she gave them a thumbs-up.

Ruby smiled lightly, but the rest of her team were having mixed feelings about how to feel, what with having total strangers that Ruby encountered knowing of the Omnitrix.

Yang protectively put her hand on Ruby's shoulder. "Listen, if you even think about talking about-" Yang was cut off by Nero.

"You have nothing to be afraid of. We have nothing to gain from telling people about it. Your secret is safe with us, rest assured." Nero told her, making the older sister to Ruby bear a slightly shocked expression on her face.

"We only wanted to say hi, anyways. Come on. Let's get closer to the stage, you guys." Rex said as he walked closer to the stage.

"Welp, see you four around." Winona said as her team followed after their teammate.

Team RWBY watched them walk off as Weiss spoke up. "You guys think that trusting them is a bad idea?"

Ruby sighed. "I dunno. They seemed harmless enough when I talked to them." Ruby said as Blake spoke up.

"I personally think we can trust them, believe it or not. I didn't see any signs of lying in either their mannerisms or their voices." Blake admitted.

"So they ARE trustworthy then?" Yang asked.

"I didn't confirm that, but it's a-" Blake was cut off when Weiss pressed her finger on her lips.

"Shush, Ozpin's coming out." Weiss said, pointing to the side of the stage where both Ozpin and Glynda were standing.

With the headmaster and vice-headmistress of Beacon themselves, Ozpin took a deep breath as he looked out to the crowd of students, and spotted Ruby in said crowd. Glynda noticed this and sighed. "Are you sure you want to do this?" Glynda asked him with a whisper.

Ozpin looked down for a moment before taking another deep breath. "I haven't the faintest idea if this is the right thing to do, admittedly… But it's time to find out." Ozpin said as he stepped onto the stage, the students muttering all the while.

The muttering ceased however when Ozpin tapped the mike he held in his hand. "A part of me wishes for nothing more than to keep this brief. To assure you all that everything is fine, that the damages from the explosions that occurred yesterday will soon be repaired, and that peace will return to Beacon, as the ones who've caused said explosions were dealt with…"

Ruby had a sinking feeling in her gut about where this was going. Silently looking at her teammates, she could see a bead of sweat dripping down Blake's head as Yang gulped.

"But alas… that is not the case." Ozpin stated, getting the crowd of students to murmur among themselves. "The perpetrators behind the attack yesterday are still at large, and the damage they caused will take a while to repair. But as for the cause of the damage, well… I'm sure that some Faunus students were made aware of it, but a fight broke out on Beacon's campus yesterday…" Ozpin slowed down for a moment as he paused.

Time seemed to slow down for Teams RWBY, JNPR, CFVY, SSSN, and even CRDL. Ruby had some inkling of what Ozpin was gonna say now that he paused, but even with the Omnitrix's warmth trying to reassure her, her heart was still beating at a hundred beats a second.

"All these recent events… were caused… by actual aliens." Ozpin stated, causing the entire crowd to go silent.

'Looks like he's not hiding anything after all.' Weiss thought as she twiddled her thumbs nervously as people around the assembly hall started mumbling among themselves.

"Is the headmaster serious?"

"There's no way! He's gotta be joking!"

"Surely there's a more sensible explanation!"

"AHA! ALIENS DO EXIST!"

The whole crowd stopped muttering to themselves to see one female student with purple hair bearing black streaks in it raising their fist up in celebration. "Oh shut up! I've waited my entire LIFE to say those words!" She said with a pout.

"Ahem…" Ozpin quickly got the student's attention. "I understand the skepticism at this statement is large, borderline immeasurable, but I can promise you… I do have proof as to this being the unavoidable truth." Ozpin stated as he and Glynda both took some four steps back from the center of the stage.

Jaune went wide-eyed at the fact that they did that. 'Don't tell me…' He thought.

Coco and Sun were thinking the same thing despite being on close opposite ends of the hall. 'He's not gonna…' They thought.

Ozpin spoke up again. "Students of Beacon, I present to you… our visitors of another world." Ozpin said as footsteps were heard from the side of the stage… And the crowd went completely silent, with some jaws dropping.

Team RWBY was among those dropped jaws, as were Teams JNPR, CFVY, SSSN, CRDL, and even WVRN. "Holy crap…" Rex whispered at what he was seeing.

BGM - Ultra Megalopolis (Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon)

Walking onto the assembly hall's main stage was Chorina, Mesin, and Ghoadry. Chorina with her hands behind her back, Mesin devoid of any weapons, and scanning the audience along with Ghoadry.

Chorina took center stage as Mesin and Ghoadry stood beside her, with Ozpin handing the microphone to her. "Thank you, Ozpin." She said as she took the mic with her hand and looked out at the audience. "It's a pleasure to meet you all, inhabitants of Remnant and students of Beacon Academy… You may not know me, or my companions, so allow me to explain… My name is Chorina Xenxos Altegori, the brightest mind of the beings known as the Weza Izumokita, and messenger of the Andromeda Peace Confederacy." Chorina then raised the mic up to Mesin.

"Hello there, Humans and Faunus. I am Mesin Olaxi, second-in-command of APC Flydisk Alpha-1 and a good friend of Chorina's." Mesin introduced himself as he bowed with both sets of hands clapped together, as Chorina then redirected the mic to Ghoadry.

"And I am Ghoadry M-04, Chorina's personal attendant and bodyguard, as well as what you may describe as a fully sentient robot." Ghoadry said with a curtsy.

The crowd of students were amazed at the sight they were seeing. Aliens, actual aliens, were right in front of them on a stage like they were giving a performance or something.

"Are those… real aliens?"

"That's impossible."

"But one of them is basically 9 feet tall. And the other's a robot."

"Maybe they're just some extra-detailed costumes?" One student said before Winona stepped up to speak.

"NO WAY those are just ordinary costumes. Those are honest to goodness aliens." Winona said as the students marveled at the sight.

"THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING DAY OF MY LIFE!"

The students all gawked at the aliens on stage, some out of curiosity, some out of slight fear of why they're even here in the first place, and some out of amazement, as Ozpin and Glynda looked at each other for a moment.

Ruby would've felt joy at Winona speaking what she knew… If it weren't for the fact that she felt like she was gonna throw up for some reason.

'Okay, so… Aliens are now officially a thing to Beacon at least. But… What if this winds up leading things out of hand? What if people think they're here to probe them for some reason and panic, and the Grimm come after us and they ha-' Ruby's paranoia-induced thoughts were cut off when she felt a warm sensation on her wrist.

The Omnitrix was giving her that warm and fuzzy feeling again, telling her to calm down… And as she looked at it, she felt Yang place a hand on her shoulder. "We're right here for you." She whispered to her in reassurance as she focused on Chorina, who seemed to be looking right at her and her team between glances at the crowd that had gotten closer to the stage.

"Now, you all are probably wondering what we are doing on your planet. Anyone who thinks as much, raise your hand." Chorina asked as nearly every student raised their hand in response. "I suspected as much. Now as for why we're here at all, it would be because… for lack of a better term, we were ambushed, by extraterrestrial bounty hunters." Chorina explained.

This made the students gasp in shock at the idea of such a thing. "My bodyguards, crew, assigned soldiers, and I were tasked with transporting a fully finished weapon of galactic peace to another planet when somehow, a series of bounty hunters had found out about it, and wanted in on its incredible potential." Chorina explained.

'The Headhunterz…' Sun thought as he remembered how hard he fought Nelira, only for it to amount to Ruby having to bail him and everyone else out with the Omnitrix. 'I hope we can get stronger to fight them off next time.' He thought as he refocused on Chorina.

"We were fortunate enough to keep it out of their hands, but to do so, we were forced to eject the weapon from our vessel. We were fortunate enough to have taken it back in on our arrival on this planet, but we were too late to stop the bounty hunters from causing that series of explosions on your school." Chorina explained before lowering the mic from her face. "On behalf of my vessel and the APC as a whole, I apologize greatly for the chaos that was caused by them here." She said as she bowed her head in apology, followed by Mesin and Ghoadry.

The students were floored at the fact that these aliens seemed to be taking responsibility for the damage their school had taken. As Marle of Team WVRN raised her hand. "Sorry for asking, but… What did you mean by a 'weapon of galactic peace', exactly?" She asked as people began muttering to each other.

"Wait, doesn't that sound suspicious."

"Sounds contradictory to me."

"Yeah, what's a weapon of galactic peace?"

"I WANNA KNOW EVERYTHING!"

Chorina nodded as she responded to the question. "A fine question, young lady. This weapon of peace is meant to be wielded by a single entity that would use it as a way to grant people a better perspective on the lives of other alien species. This isn't just a weapon for the promotion of peace, it's a way for alien life like ourselves to learn from and respect other lives by walking among them." Chorina answered as she held her hand out to her side.

End BGM

The students of Beacon were floored by what Chorina had explained. Some didn't fully understand it, as Chorina continued. "We unfortunately cannot give any more insight on that. We merely wish to let you all know that we pose no threat to you or your way of life." Chorina stated.

"They seem honest enough."

"But they're still aliens, aren't they?"

"THAT JUST MAKES IT BETTER!"

"How do we know that we can trust you guys for sure?" Nero asked, raising his hand.

"Very good question, young man. To which I respond with a potential suggestion." Chorina said. "From what I was able to gather on this world and its cultures, the way that you fight, the way these… Huntsmen and Huntresses fight, they reflect the personality of the fighter themselves. Different weapons and movement with those weapons, different powers used alongside them, and so on." Chorina said as most of the crowd found themselves agreeing with her.

"Thanks to permission given from Ozpin, as well as the general of the Atlesian Army, James Ironwood… I propose a series of sparring matches between your kind and extraterrestrials." Chorina said with a light smile on her face.

Everyone of the students was shocked by Chorina's proposal, leading to Yatsuhashi raising the all-important question with a raised hand. "What do you mean by that?" The tall Huntsman-in-training asked.

"What it means is quite simple, actually. Fighters from other worlds of my choosing, facing off against the best teams of young Huntsmen and Huntresses that Beacon Academy has on campus as of now." Chorina explained further, shocking the student body.

"Wait. Does that mean that we'll be getting a chance to fight against ACTUAL alien opponents?" Weiss asked while raising her hand, nervous at the prospect.

"Exactly. Headmaster Ozpin, along with General James Ironwood, have agreed with this. And to add to it, both the Atlesian General and our very own Mesin will be the opening round of these sparring sessions." That shocked all of the student body, who began talking among themselves.

Ruby was no exception. "Did she just say that the General and Mesin would fight against each other?" She asked her team.

"That sounds crazy!" Blake stated with wide eyes, as out of the corner of her eye, she saw Yang with a wide smirk.

"And… kinda awesome, I won't lie." Yang commented as Weiss facepalmed.

"Of course YOU would think that." The Heiress muttered, hardly shocked that Yang was excited about this.

"THAT SOUNDS AMAZING!" Team RWBY was shocked to hear Nora scream at the top of her lungs at what Chorina suggested. "The idea of aliens with all kinds of powers fighting against us would be an INCREDIBLE way to see what we can improve on." Nora argued.

Ren saw where she was going, but Rex beat him to a response before she could yank her down. "The girl's right. With the apparent fact that aliens do exist, we're gonna have to adapt and learn how to combat them. I say we see what we can learn through this." Rex stated as people around the two students started talking and… seemingly agreeing with the both of them.

"This would be a good opportunity to learn."

"Yeah, maybe we should see where it goes."

"But what if they turn out to be too strong?"

"THIS IS MY CHANCE TO LEARN ABOUT ALIEN BIOLOGY!"

Chorina smiled. "If you're worried about getting hurt, then you needn't worry." Chorina said, getting the student's attention. "All alien participants will be handpicked by me, and will be expressly told NOT to brutally harm anyone, no matter what." Chorina assured, as she bowed with a smile, followed by Mesin and Ghoadry.

Ozpin soon walked up to Chorina as she handed the Headmaster of Beacon the mic. "I will admit, I can understand your skepticism in all this. What with the reveal of these aliens, their background and even their looks, on top of their proposal. But, rest assured, I was able to discern that these aliens do indeed have no intention of harming anyone on Remnant." Ozpin said to the entire student body.

That got the students to converse amongst themselves more calmly now.

"I guess if the Headmaster is okay with it…"

"Maybe these aliens are alright."

"I just hope that all aliens can be as friendly as them."

"FINALLY! SECRETS OF THE UNIVERSE BEYOND OUR WORLD, HERE I-" Another girl with silver hair and horns on her head right next to her knocked her out with a strong chop to her head.

"Will you knock that off?!" She said as she and two other girls dragged her out of the assembly hall.

Ignoring what just happened, Ozpin looked at the aliens that proposed the mock battles. As they smiled and nodded at him, he looked back at the crowd. "In response to the request of these alien visitors, both them and the student body will have two hours to pick out competing teams for the sparring battles. As for the sparring battles themselves, details on them will be given out after the two hours are up." Ozpin explained before continuing.

"For now though, this assembly is now concluded. Glynda will give out instructions on how to register for these sparring matches by the Atlesian soldiers you find stationed by the mission terminals. That is all, and thank you for being as calm as you can be." Ozpin said with a nod before he and the alien visitors walked off the stage together with Glynda walking off the stage opposite to the direction they were walking in.

The students were conversing among themselves as Yang spoke to her teammates. "I can't believe this is actually happening. Aliens have been made public to Remnant." Yang muttered.

Blake followed it up with her own comment. "And by the sound of Ozpin's voice, it seemed like he didn't want to reveal the presence of aliens to anyone."

Weiss sighed. "Well, we're lucky the assembly was only a small thing. There weren't any sort of news networks recording any of this. So right now, the existence of aliens is bound only to Beacon." She took note of it.

Team JNPR came walking up to them. "Hey guys." Jaune said as he spoke to them. "How're you feeling after this whole thing?" He asked them.

Ruby wanted to say that she was alright, but she knew that would be seen as a lie on her part. "I… can't say that I'm alright. Aliens were just made known to everyone in Beacon, but… at least Ozpin and Chorina didn't say anything about the Omnitrix." Ruby said, looking on the bright side of the whole thing. "Well, anything much at least."

Ren sighed. "That's very much a good thing too. If they did bring it up, who knows what could happen?" He remarked with a sigh.

"Well, Ruby would probably be the center of atte-" Pyrrha slapped her hand over Nora's mouth as the Invincible Girl herself sighed.

"Nora, now is… probably not the best of times." She said before lightly directing her eyes at Ruby, with Nora catching on to what she was meaning.

"Oh, right…" Nora dejectedly said as she twiddled her thumbs in-response. "Sorry, Ruby." She apologized.

"Don't worry about it. I know you didn't mean it… But still, I can't imagine having to deal with that guy who was shouting knowing about it." Ruby said with an awkward smile as the same guy, who was still unconscious, was dragged out of the auditorium by the rest of his team. Ruby then looked down at the Omnitrix, and…

"Hey, Omni?" Ruby asked for the presence of the AI in the Omnitrix.

A red holographic light dimly lit up over the Omnitrix, as Omni's upper torso appeared over it, like she was peeking through a window to talk to her. "What is it?" She asked quietly. "And make it quick. We're in public." Omni urged.

"Oh, ummm, right. Sorry. It's just…" Ruby was about to speak before her shoulder was tapped on by… Mesin's hand from an elongated arm. "What the…" She leapt back only to see the hand retract to the entrance, where it crept through the slightly open doors before they quietly closed. "Guys, I think Mesin needs me for something."

"Don't worry about anything. We'll cover you." Yang patted her back as the rest of Team RWBY and Team JNPR nodded in response.

"Okay. Thanks." Ruby quickly speed-walked her way to the door and exited through it.

"Why don't we go see what we can do to sign up for those sparring matches?" Yang proposed.

All Weiss and Blake did was stare at her, look at each other for a moment, and then look back at her. "You're gonna sign up for the sparring matches, aren't you?" Weiss asked.

"YOU KNOW IT!" Yang said before proudly making her way over to the crowd of students where Glynda was standing and explaining away how to register for the sparring matches.

(Meanwhile with Ruby…)

Ruby was currently walking with Chorina, Mesin, Ghoadry, and Ozpin through the Beacon campus as she looked upon the buildings that were still damaged from the Headhunterz's explosives. She looked down towards the path they were walking on, as they reached a familiar sight.

It was the same bench that she and Brutus sat on when they were talking yesterday. Still broken as Chorina touched her shoulder, making her yelp in surprise. "AH!" She let out leaping back on impulse.

"Oh. Sorry. I just wanted to see if you were willing to talk with us." Chorina said as she held her hands up in defense.

Ruby sighed as she rubbed her forehead. "No, I'm sorry. I should be a little less on-edge ever since the Headhunterz left yesterday, but… It's just so hard to get over." She said as she thought back to the details of what led up to the fight, and the fight itself. "I was sitting next to someone who was a bounty hunter, and from what I know, bounty hunters are people who kill for money. And… my team, our friends, we all fought against them so hard, yet we couldn't even badly hurt them…" She admitted to how she was feeling as she sighed again. "I just… don't know what I should do right now." Ruby said as she teared up a little, before wiping that tear away.

That was when Ghoadry spoke up. "Ruby, you do not need to beat yourself up about what happened." She stated as she walked in front of her. "You did what you had to do to protect the people you care about. You used the Omnitrix not because you wanted to be a hero, but because it would help you protect your friends." Ghoadry said with her arms crossed. "Your friends were definitely hurt, of course, but the bright side is that none of them died to the Headhunterz. Most who fight against them… usually aren't as lucky." She admitted while looking down at the ground.

Mesin spoke up as well. "She's right." He said, getting Ruby's attention. "The Headhunterz are fearsome opponents, but despite being kids in combat school, you all stood your ground and fought to the best of your abilities. And you protected your allies when all hope seemed lost for you." Mesin lectured her. "Take it from someone who has fought in actual wars before. There's nothing bad about the decisions you made yesterday." He said as he folded his arms as well.

Chorina smiled as she walked up in front of Ruby. "Young lady, I may have only just met you as of yesterday, but I trust Omni's judgment. She said that you are a perfect candidate for the Omnitrix, someone who I've waited a LONG time for… But that's not why I believe in you. I want to believe in you, because I can see that you are a kind and honest soul." Ruby didn't know what to say in response to Chorina's words.

"I… Thanks, Chorina." She smiled as Ozpin spoke.

"You certainly seem to be a good judge of character, I must admit." Ozpin admitted, with Chorina turning around with a smirk.

"Well, being one of the brightest minds of the Weza Izumokita does have the perk of being one of its greatest eyes for character." She said with a smile before Mesin flicked her on the forehead. "Ow! Olaxi!" Chorina snapped at Mesin, who nonchalantly brushed her off.

"What have we talked about concerning humility, 'boss'?" Mesin asked with air quotes around that last word.

Chorina groaned as she spoke up. "You're no fun." She said with a childish pout as Ozpin raised an eyebrow, which Ghoadry caught sight of.

"I know you're skeptical, but rest assured, she is who she says she is. Her antics are just a means of keeping herself-" Ghoadry spoke with her eyes lighting before feeling a dark intent coming before her…

To see Chorina with a scowl and holding up a metallic stick with sparks present atop it. "I'll… save that for later." Ghoadry meekly said.

Ruby meanwhile was amazed by what Chorina was holding. "WOAH! What kind of weapon is that?!" She said zooming up to Chorina's right side.

"Oh? It's a custom-made metallic battle baton with a built-in taser." Chorina explained as Ruby marveled at the sight of the sleek-looking metallic stick.

"How strong is it? What material is it made of? How many people have you used it against?" Ruby fired off many questions, with Chorina smiling in response.

"Well, if you want to know, it's strong enough to fracture entire boulders when striking them correctly, it's made of a special polymer that renders them indestructible to conventional means, and I've only had to use them in situations of self-defense or to prove myself in some trials by combat." Chorina explained as Ruby's eyes sparkled in amazement.

"Oh nice! How strong is the taser itself?" Ruby asked, making Chorina lean forward towards her.

"Oh, how strong is it? Well, it's strong enough to paralyze someone's nervous system the moment the sparks touch someone, and…" Chorina twirled the metallic baton around to reveal a second taser attached to the other end of it. "It's also got two of them built-in just in case, with the intensity of the voltage being controlled by special buttons hidden at the mid-section." Chorina explained.

"Oh, that is amazing!" Ruby gushed as she had sparkles in her eyes.

"And the twist on this is that…" Chorina flipped the metal baton in the air, before pulling three more identical metallic batons off her coat, and juggling them in her hands while catching the first one of the bunch, and holding them all in-between her fingers. "I carry four of them, two with built-in tasers, and two for utility purposes." Chorina said as she struck a battle-ready pose.

"Wooooooooah…" Ruby let out in amazement, both at the potential in those sticks, and how Chorina was able to effortlessly juggle them in her hands.

Ozpin was also impressed by Chorina's choice of weapons. "Interesting. I'll admit that I am but slightly shocked that you aren't using any more advanced weaponry." Ozpin voiced his opinion as Chorina spoke.

"Ehehe." Chorina chuckled before holstering the metallic batons on the sides of her coat. "Well, let's just say I like to be as unassuming as possible." Chorina responded.

Ghoadry rolled up to Ozpin on the wheels on her feet. "Not only that, but you're hardly one to talk in terms of unassuming weapons." Ghoadry said as he tapped on Ozpin's hand holding the cane. "Your cane apparently has mechanisms in it that are very similar to most mecha-shift weapons on the planet from what data I could gather on it." Ozpin was shocked that Ghoadry analyzed his cane.

"She's right. Normal canes don't just have those functions built in. Plus, your cane shows signs of having been used for a REALLY long time despite it looking spotless. I can tell that it's held strong and fast through the years via some sort of method." Chorina analyzed as Ozpin looked at her in shock.

Ruby was shocked and amazed by how Ghoadry and Chorina managed to pick out those details of Ozpin's cane. "Woah… You ARE good." Ruby marveled.

Chorina smiled before placing a hand on Ruby's shoulder. "Thank you, Ruby. Now then, you and I are going to some nearby woods with Mesin and Ghoadry for something I wanted to make sure of." Chorina said as she held Ruby's hand and dragged her to some nearby woods.

"Huh? Wait. What do you need from me in the woods?" Ruby wondered as she walked the best she could with her hand being held in Chorina's shockingly strong grip.

Mesin spoke up. "Let's just say we need to run a small trial by fire." He answered.

Ruby was shocked by the use of the term. "Trial by what now?!" She asked as the four of them faded from sight.

Ozpin looked at them with a smile, but inside his head, he was beginning to worry about what that analysis of his cane could mean. 'It's highly unlikely that the remarks about Long Memory were just light-hearted mockery. Could it be that…' Ozpin sighed before he overstayed his welcome in that one spot he was standing in, before making his way back to his office.

(Meanwhile, with Yang…)

"There we go. All signed up." Yang said as she finished signing up for the human versus alien sparring matches.

She walked back to Weiss, Blake, and Team JNP, as Ren was also walking back to his team from having signed up. "Well, I suppose it's good that we signed up, at least. Not a whole lot of people have signed up for these sparring matches." Ren noted as he looked at a lot of the students talking among themselves, wondering who would sign up outside of those who already have.

"Well, if you ask me, I KNEW you and Nora would sign up for it." Weiss stated as she pointed at the two of them.

"Hehe, you know it. A fair fight with actual aliens!? I'd LOVE that!" Nora said, hyped up about the idea.

"I'm more surprised that YOU signed up, Weiss." Blake said jokingly.

Weiss only brushed her hair to the side in confidence. "Well, it's a great opportunity to show what I am capable of." Weiss said with her hand on her hip. "What I did expect was that guy to come back and sign up, but he's probably still unconscious. But I saw that you signed up yourself, Pyrrha. I wager you'll do great in the sparring matches." She said, looking at the redhead in-question.

Pyrrha responded with her hands held together. "Oh. Well, it only felt natural to join… I wouldn't mind an honest fight with one or two of the opponents Chorina has in mind for us anyways. It could be fun." She said, secretly hiding her real reason for partaking in her head.

"I'm not exactly confident in my abilities so far. Pyrrha's been training me, but… I'm not ready to spar against people who are basically elite soldiers, alien or not. So I think I'll sit this out." Jaune admitted while scratching his head.

Team SSSN came up to the seven of them. "There's nothing wrong with that, Jaune. Many of the folks here aren't as confident as the others." Sun admitted as Neptune and Scarlet raised their hands in response.

Velvet came walking up to them. "Yeah. Sorry guys. I don't think I'll do too good either. I'm still getting over that last fight." Velvet admitted, as Coco stepped up to the plate.

"Oh, don't fret, Bunbun. The rest of Team CFVY will win one for you." Coco stated confidently.

"You'd better hope so, 'cause out of all of us, not a single complete team has signed up." Blake told her, until she heard a group of four people passing by her and her teammates from behind. "Huh?" She let out before seeing… "Team WVRN?"

"Are they ALL gonna sign up for the sparring battles?" Jaune wondered as the four members of the team walked up to the terminal to register for the matches.

Sage furrowed his brow. "Seems like it." He muttered.

Coco whispered to Team WBY. "Just so we're clear, do any of us trust them? They just approached Ruby out of nowhere, and she was forced to fess up about… you know what." She said quickly.

Blake caught on to what she was saying. "That's a good point. For all we know, they could be spies, or even more aliens in disguise trying to get close to Ruby." She theorized.

"I dunno. They seem genuine enough. And if they-" Yang was cut off by a young lady's voice.

"You have no idea I can hear you, do you?" They all yelped in panic as they saw Marle right in front of them.

"If you're gonna bad mouth me and my team, at least do it when we're not in the same room as you, ya cheeky scamps." Marle lectured them with a wink.

"Wha- But… How'd you hear us?! We were whispering!" Sun asked dumbfounded.

"And you're even wearing earmuffs! What gives?!" Yang added.

'But it's not even cold outside. I would know.' Weiss thought.

Scarlet and Neptune then had the same idea while looking at each other for a moment. "Could it be…" Scarlet started to ask while Neptune ended it.

"Your Semblance?" He said, making Marle smile even wider.

Marle then clicks her tongue and points her finger at Neptune. "Bingo bongo, blue hair." She said as she then removed the earmuffs on her head, revealing her fox-like Faunus ears underneath the animal ear-shaped coverings on the headband.

Blake's eyes widened. 'She's a Faunus? I thought those ears were a style choice.' She thought to herself.

"My Semblance allows me to see, smell, and especially hear things incredibly well, even for a Fox Faunus like myself. These earmuffs are self-made and I wear them just to make sure I don't get a sensory overload. Even with them on though, I can track down the location of a mouse in Beacon's ventilation system in less than five minutes. And if you want, you can try them on for yourse-" She stopped when Winona laid a hand on her shoulder.

"Okay. I think they've heard enough. Why don't we go before we attract an even bigger crowd?" Winona said as the students who were in the assembly hall still were now looking at them, and had raised eyebrows visible on their faces or were discretely talking to each other as best they could. This caused Marle to bashfully scratch the back of her head before slipping her earmuffs on and walking off with Winona.

"We should probably split up as well. See ya guys at the sparring matches." Coco said before she and her team left for their room.

Soon after this, Teams WBY and JNPR all left the assembly hall themselves as they talked about what just happened.

"So that Marle girl has a high level of hearing thanks to her Semblance… That must be how she knew about aliens before anyone else and even the Omnitrix." Jaune analyzed as Weiss sighed.

"And adding onto that, she's a Faunus. Even without her Semblance, her senses would still be better than that of a Human. If I may be frank here, it's a miracle that the only ones who pieced together what was really happening were Teams CRDL and WVRN, and even more so that only Team CRDL came out to catch us." Weiss said as she rubbed the sides of her forehead.

Blake looked at her teammate concerned. "Are you gonna be okay, Weiss?" Blake asked.

"It's not me you should be worried about… It's…" Weiss stopped as Yang picked up on what she meant.

"Ruby… Right… She's probably had a lot to think about since those explosions went off on Beacon yesterday." Yang said, devoid of any of her earlier enthusiasm for fighting.

"I hope the Omnitrix and Omni don't feel too much like a burden to her. That fight she had with the Headhunterz must've been on her mind for a while now." Pyrrha said.

Nora was going to say something, until she realized something. "Wait a second… Where IS Ruby anyways?" Nora wondered as she looked around, not seeing her or Mesin who beckoned her away from them.

"I'm sure she's in good hands. Knowing Chorina, she'll-" Ren was interrupted when he sensed something being hurled in his direction, he dodged to the right and was able to see that the incoming projectile was…

'A coin?' He thought as he continued his dodging.

The coin flew past him and impacted the ground, then the base of the statue in Beacon's campus plaza that was nearby, and flipped through the air as it soon landed in someone's hand.

"I told you. That kid's the sharp one." A feminine voice said as the Teams WBY and JNPR spun around quickly to see… Some unfamiliar figures.

"Oh crap…" Yang muttered the moment she saw them.

(Meanwhile, with Ruby…)

"You want to spar against one of my alien forms?!" Ruby exclaimed in shock as she, Chorina, along with Mesin and Ghoadry with the former leaning up against a tree.

Chorina nodded before speaking. "Indeed. I wish to see how adept you are at using one of your alien forms. So please, pick one to spar against me with, and let's see how you do?" Chorina said as she held her hands behind her back.

Ruby didn't know how to feel about this prospect. On one hand, Chorina WAS an alien and had a good skill set and experience with fighting if those metallic batons on her sides are anything to go by, so she should be able to hold her ground. But on the other hand, what if she hurts Chorina too much?...

That was when Omni appeared over the Omnitrix. "Hey, Ruby." Ruby looked at Omni as the holographic AI hovered up to her eye-level. "If you'd like, why don't I pick the transformation this time? That way, you can feel confident in a relatively even fight with her." Omni proposed to her.

Ruby smiled at this, before nodding unhesitantly. "Okay, Omni. I trust you." She answered.

Omni nodded in response before bringing up a screen in-front of her holographic form, before pressing on it a few times, and bringing up a transformation on the Omnitrix. "Remember that time you trained with this one?" Omni asked as Ruby immediately recognized the transformation.

"Oh yeah! I do!" Ruby answered before pressing the Omnitrix down.

(Transformation)

BGM - This Will Be the Day instrumental (RWBY)

The Omnitrix sunk into Ruby's body before increasing her musculature. Her skin then began to have feathers sprout out of it. Her fingers changed into chicken-like digits with sharp claws on them, as her feet adopted a more avian appearance, and a feathered tail formed out of her tailbone.

The Omnitrix appeared on a sleeveless suit with short leg sleeves and a red X-shape on it. As Ruby's mouth and nose converted into a short beak, her hair soon transmuted to feathers as well, before a pair of crested brows formed on her head, red in color while bearing yellow, oval-shaped spots. She then opened her eyes to show silver sclera and black, catlike pupils.

(End transformation)

"Kickin Run!" Ruby declared with her arms held to her sides.

End BGM

"Kick… and Run?" Mesin tried to repeat in confusion.

"Probably a code name of some sort." Ghoadry took a guess, before Kickin Run nodded.

"You got it right. My friends and I thought we ought to name the alien transformations I use so we can make it easier to know their strengths and weaknesses, 'cause no offense, the names of alien species tend to be VERY long." Kickin Run told them as Chorina nodded.

"I won't deny that at least, Weza Izumokita is a great name for my species, but I'll admit it's not short and sweet like most others." Chorina said while scratching the side of her head.

"Okay, but why shout the names of your transformations aloud?" Mesin asked.

"Oh, well… Ummm…" Kickin Run recounted the events that lead to the idea being implemented.

BGM - Jr Troopa Battle (Paper Mario)

(Flashback…)

"To make all those who dare oppose the mighty Ruby Rose tremble before the alien power you have and make them wish they were never bor-"

BONK!

Nora's idea was taken into consideration… After Yang had knocked her into the ground face-first with her fist.

(End flashback…)

End BGM

"I'm not even joking. That's exactly what happened." Kickin Run said while shrugging her arms.

"I can attest to that. And I'm not gonna lie, that girl unnerves me to some degree." Omni admitted.

Chorina and Mesin's total of seven eyes were wide open in both curiosity and fear, while Ghoadry's reaction was much different.

She unscrewed her head from her shoulders before tapping on the sides of the head itself, looking like she was making sure there was nothing obstructing what she just heard before pulling a cloth out of a compartment she had built into her skirt, cleaned the optic eyes on her head's face, and screwed it back on.

"Okay. I'm just gonna say it. That girl is flat-out crazy." Ghoadry said with her hands clapped together.

"I'm not even gonna ask how that girl is doing in this school grades-wise." Mesin wondered aloud.

Chorina clapped her hands in response. "Okay, okay. We're not here to harp on anyone's mental state, or anything else. I asked Ruby here for a sparring match in private, and that's what I'm gonna get." Chorina stated definitively.

Kickin Run sighed, but got into a fighting position, letting her alien instinct guide her movements before speaking up. "Okay, but just to let you know, I'm sorry if I hurt you." Kickin Run said as she was ready to strike.

Chorina chuckled. "Oh don't you worry." The greatest mind of the Weza Izumokita smiled before closing her eyes, but not opening them. "I won't fall down so easily." Chorina said, her eyes still closed.

BGM - Jonouchi (Yu-Gi-Oh)

Kickin Run narrowed her eyes before charging at Chorina, her fist reared back before she threw a punch at Chorina's chest…

Only for the alien to bend backwards with her tail supporting her body. 'What?!' Kickin Run thought before she was suddenly kicked away by Chorina's right leg. "How'd you-"

"You already know the answer to that question, Miss Rose. Now don't hold back! Come at me!" Chorina said, her arms stretched out to her sides, and her eyes still unopened.

'Right. How did I forget? The Weza Izumokita have horns that can pick up the faintest vibrations in the air like some kind of sensor.' Kickin Run thought to herself.

Kickin Run dashed straight at Chorina, and threw a kick at her, only for Chorina to calmly backstep with her hands by her sides. Kickin Run then threw a trio of punches at her, but Chorina dodged them with ease. At the end of the third punch however, Chorina picked one of the metallic batons holstered on her coat, spun it in the air for a moment, and promptly used it to strike Kickin Run in her side, making her wince in pain.

Kickin Run leapt backwards, and jumped up in the air before bringing her leg down. This time, Chorina opened her eyes, and pulled out another metallic baton before blocking the kick. "Nice work on using the Ratefowalin's physical traits and instinct to enhance your combative ability." Chorina said as she pushed Kickin Run back.

Kickin Run backflipped on her hands and landed on her feet. 'Good thing I trained with this alien beforehand. Otherwise, I'd have no idea how to fight using this form.' She thought to herself.

End BGM

Mesin and Ghoadry were watching the entire sparring match as Kickin Run dashed in to attack again, only to have every strike she threw at Chorina either blocked or dodged. "I'll admit, the kid's movements in this form are pretty sharp, but they could be better." Mesin noted.

"I won't deny that, but for a form she's probably only had time to use once or twice before this, I say she's doing really well." Ghoadry noted as she saw Kickin Run throw an upward spin kick at Chorina, only for her to dodge it and counterattack with her batons.

Mesin sighed. "I just… wish it didn't have to come to this." He said through what appeared to be gritted teeth.

Ghoadry placed a hand on Mesin's lowest left arm that was serving as his leg. "You're still upset about how most kids and teenagers are raised on this planet, aren't you?" Ghoadry asked as her cat-like ears drooped slightly.

"I apologize." Mesin said. "But I can't just… Augh, nevermind." Mesin said in frustration.

Kickin Run was panting tired and covered in ruffled feathers after the fight, with Chorina slightly panting as well, but without so much as a scratch on her body or clothing. "So, still afraid of hurting me?" Chorina sarcastically said to Kickin Run, who then suddenly turned back into Ruby before falling on her knees. Chronia then slowly approached Ruby. "Now then, do you yield?" She said as she pointed one of her metallic batons at her.

"I… yield." Ruby said tiredly before falling onto her back and straightening her legs. "Dang… I couldn't even touch you at all." She said, still panting.

"Sorry, Ruby." Ruby brought up the Omnitrix as she looked at Omni who had a worried look on her face. "I couldn't let the fight go on like how it did, so I had to deactivate Kickin Run's transformation for you." Omni explained.

"It's okay… I… Understand." Ruby said as she chuckled a little as Chorina put away her metallic batons and offered her hand.

Ruby took it as Chorina chuckled a little. "It's alright. I understand. You've never fought against an opponent with a danger sense like me before, have you?" She asked the cloaked huntress.

"Not at all. Maybe once or twice in Signal, but that's about it." Ruby answered.

Ghoadry was confused by the term. "Pardon me, but what is Signal?" The robotic alien asked.

"It's the Huntsman combat school I went to before Beacon. I learned everything I know about the basics of fighting from there. I'd still be attending it today if Professor Ozpin didn't move me up by two years. I still miss my friends there though." Ruby answered with a smile… Before noticing that Mesin's eyes were straightened out… In what appeared to be anger. "Ummm… Mesin. Are you okay?" She asked, only to have Mesin looking away from her.

"It's nothing. I'm fine." Mesin said while crossing four of his arms, only for Ruby to spot his bottom-most hands curling into the dirt out of frustration.

Mesin had the urge to yell at Ruby, demanding to know why she wanted to become a Huntress along with the other kids at the academy, but upon glancing at a concerned Ghoadry, he let out a sigh. "I'm… gonna go back to the ship. I have something to check up on before those sparring matches take place." He then said as he leapt into the trees before swinging away using his elastic arms.

"Wait! Mes-" She stopped when he had swung out of sight, but she was still concerned about why he had done so. "Is… he okay?" Ruby wondered.

Ghoadry facepalmed as her hand made a metallic clang the moment it hit her face. "He's been better. He's just… iffy about the idea of your Huntsmen and Huntresses system." The robot alien told her.

That made Ruby jump back in shock. "What do you mean? The Huntsmen and Huntresses have been around for deca-" Ruby was cut off by Chorina placing a hand on her shoulder.

"You'll find out when you're ready to learn." She answered as Omni spoke up.

"Apologies, Ruby, but this time around, the truth is better off left alone." She said with a noticeable frown.

Ruby sighed, but nodded before sitting down. "So… Chorina… what did Omni say to you yesterday that made you consider me a good user of the Omnitrix?" Ruby asked her.

"Well…" Chorina thought about that for a moment, before sitting down herself. "Ghoadry, could you give Ruby, Omni, and I some privacy?" She asked her robotic assistant before Ghoadry nodded.

"Of course, Chorina. I'll go see what the rest of your friends are up to." Ghoadry said to both of them before activating her wheel legs and speeding off into the trees and shrubbery before disappearing from sight.

"Woah… That's the first time I've seen her use those wheels on her feet." Ruby stated.

"Well, she HAS not had any reason to use them yet, so that's probably why." Chorina chuckled before sighing. "As for… why I think you're a good fit for the Omnitrix, well…" Chorina paused for a moment as Ruby leaned in a bit in suspense.

(Meanwhile with Ghoadry…)

The robotic alien was weaving between trees and bushes on her wheel-bearing feet, mumbling to herself about the current situation. "Mesin is probably stewing in war trauma right now, and Chorina's still waiting on our alien participants for the sparring battles. I think I'll rendezvous with Ruby's team and-" Ghoadry left the forest by this time, and picked up some sounds that resembled the voice of Ruby's sister.

'Wait, doesn't that voice belong to that girl Yang?' She wondered to herself as she focused her enhanced robotic hearing on the voice.

"Yeah, Ruby hasn't been herself since she got the Omnitrix. I personally hope that the sparring matches can help cheer her up a little." Ghoadry heard Yang say.

"Well, here's hoping she doesn't feel more glum when we mop the floor with the competition. He" A cocky female voice said with a laugh, shocking Ghoadry.

'That was…' She said before hearing a calm and collected voice follow it.

"Come now Kamysa, you needn't sound so arrogant, it's a sign of boorish character." Ghoadry's optic eyes shone in shock.

"They're here already?!" Ghoadry's wheels revved up as she sped off onto a brick-laiden path and followed it to where the voices were coming from.

It took her less than a minute for her to round a corner, and spot Teams WBY and JNPR sitting by the base of the Beacon plaza's statue along the edge…

While two distinctly alien figures were right beside them.

One bore yellow skin and had bright yellow hair on her head with white eyes. She had two fins on her head functioning like ears, two larger ones on her shoulders, and two tentacle-like arms stemming from her upper back with two sharp prongs on them. She wore a black and yellow bodysuit with black on the top fading into a bright yellow on her legs, with fingerless gloves with the same colors on her two main arms that bore yellow fingers. And her bodysuit also had a lightning bolt emblazoned on it, with a solid yellow satchel on her waist.

The other alien figure had orange fur covering her body with a black jumpsuit, mask, and gloves on her arms, of which she had four in total. She had a brown sash tightly wrapped around her body and linked to a brown belt on her waist, with a brown staff attached to the back of it, and also behind her, attached to her tailbone was a long tail with a flame on the end. And finally, she had two yo-yos holstered to her sides.

Ghoadry let out a chuckle as Jaune spoke up. "Oh. Hey there, Ghoadry." Jaune casually said.

Ghoadry waved back. "Hello, Jaune. I can see you met some of my allies." She remarked, gesturing to the two aliens.

"Yeah, we did-" Ren was interrupted as Nora leaned over his shoulder, lightly pushing him down.

"And they're AWESOME! Why didn't you tell us about that time you wrestled down a massive sand worm?" Nora begged for an answer.

Ghoadry visibly recoiled in shock at the question before turning to the two aliens. "Kamysa, Zenari, you said you'd keep what happened that day private!" She exclaimed at the yellow and orange aliens respectively.

"Oh, come now. It's only one of your best feats this year." The orange alien, Zenari, said in defense. With two of her arms behind her head.

"Yeah. Especially since you got those new hydraulic upgrades from Chorina. They really helped you give that overgrown Slammoid a run for its money after it a-." The yellow alien, Kamysa, added before being interrupted by Ghoadry.

"HEY! Do NOT mention that it ate me! It's embarrassing! And If I weren't a Mekanite, that stomach acid I had to wash off would've digested me!" Ghoadry said while stomping on the ground. Making both aliens and humans smile and laugh in response.

Ghoadry sighed as she looked at the humans. "So, to introduce you all properly… These are Kamysa and Zenari. My sisters-in-arms and two alien combat specialists that are to partake in the sparring matches coming up." Ghoadry said as she gestured a hand towards the two aliens.

"We already took care of introductions, but… Hi, nice to meet you." Kamysa said while waving at the humans.

"Pleasure to meet you, and get to know you." Zenari added while bowing her head and clapping both sets of her arms together.

Ghoadry clapped her own hands together making an oddly organic-sounding clap. "So, with that out of the way, why don't we take this conversation to your dorm room where we're less likely to cause a crowd to gather?" Ghoadry proposed as the humans looked at each other before they all nodded in agreement. Just as they were about to leave though…

"NOT EVEN THIS HEADACHE WILL STOP ME FROM SIGNING UP!" The alien fanatic girl said while covered in bandages as she bolted to sign up for the sparring matches…

Only to come to a halt with stars in her eyes as she spotted the three aliens right in front of her.

Knowing who the girl was from before, Ghoardry shouted "OH SON OF A-"
