"Thank you, but I've compounded my own ointment, which should be nearly as effective as yours," Xia Ningxing politely and courteously declined.
Then, she took out her own ointment and began to apply it.
Initially, Reyno wasn't very impressed, fully convinced that her ointment couldn't possibly be better than his, but when he saw the wound healing at a pace visible to the naked eye with her ointment, he awkwardly withdrew his own.
This wasn't just similar in effectiveness—it clearly outperformed his ointment by miles!
"Do you have more of this ointment? Can I buy a few bottles from you?" Reyno asked, trying to continue the conversation and find a topic.
"If you like it, senior, I can give you a bottle," Xia Ningxing offered, thinking he was genuinely interested in the ointment, and had her assistant hand one to him.
"I really appreciate it," Reyno said, pleasantly surprised.
"It's nothing," Xia Ningxing replied.
