The raven was facing off against three Knightbeasts, but he was holding his own. He flew to the sky and descended like a living bolt of shadow. Talon tore into one of the beasts, claws raking across its face, eyes, and neck, leaving deep gashes in its flesh. The creature howled, thrashing wildly as it tried to shake off the assault.
Proud and satisfied, Spheris turned his attention to the next island. He [Leaped] hurriedly, using the same game plan. Seeing their presence with [Nocturnal Perception] and attacking with quick movements that their heavyweight bodies wouldn't find easy adapting to.
There were only two on this island.
He dashed toward the first with speed, activating [Shadowmeld] to blur his form into the shadow, making him harder to see or track. He moved his Power Blade forward, hearing the hum of Umbrage as he slashed through one Knightbeast's midsection, that one force of the blow reeled off the edge of the island because of the force of the blow.
