Lin Wei nodded. It was a simple enough saying that she had obviously heard before.
Madam Cheng smiled and patted her hand, leaning forward a bit as she said with a smile, "The sage says, 'establish a family and then a career.' Naturally, one should establish a family first, and only then a career, don't you agree?"
Lin Wei felt a flutter of anxiety, sensing that Madam Cheng's question had an ulterior motive, but at the moment she couldn't figure out what the problem might be.
