"There's no such implication indeed."
Xiao Yihe said there was no such implication, but his expression suggested otherwise. Huo Zhanting's gaze grew colder as he looked at him, and An Lan let out a light chuckle,
"Xiao Yihe, you really know how to self-flatter. We were just one behind the other. If I had been on Jianpu Bridge and you followed, I got into an accident, you wouldn't have been able to escape either. I could even say that I saved you."
An Lan paused for a moment, then tilted her head up, her look half-mocking as she turned to Xiao Yihe, "Shouldn't you, perhaps, give your luxurious flat to me, your life-saver?"
