They both moved their heads up, peering through the Abyss.

Thin threads of crimson bloomed from all sides.
Dozens, hundreds, then thousands of threads knotted themselves together to form a being that vaguely resembled a human.
But—.
The being was so colossal that it made everything around him look dwarfed.
Two hollows of the Abyss were in the place of his eyes that looked at them.
"For a long time."
There was no mouth in the knot of crimson thread, but he spoke.
"I have been waiting for your arrival."
Samyaza smiled. "You talk like you predicted my arrival."
There was no amusement in his voice. "What do you think?"
Samyaza just nodded.
While on the other side, Ragnar glared at the towering figure.
He had a lot to say but chose to remain quiet.
"When was the last time I saw you?"
