Don landed on the ground with a thud, his small body creating a small dust cloud.
He looked up and saw the Water-Attributed Falcon circling in the air. Confused, he couldn't help but shout, "Hey! What are you still doing up there? Are you not going to help me?"
Don saw the falcon shaking its head, which left him speechless. "I thought we were partners…"
Shaking his head, he let the bird do its own thing, as he had a task that needed to be done. His eyes narrowed into the distance as three small monsters were coming his way.
His master told him to deal with the small ones, so he landed in the direction where these three monsters were going. Don knew that these were the only monsters he could handle—small and weak, not even worth his master's time. Fighting against stronger foes was only suicide. His master definitely knew that, which was why he had been assigned this task.
