Marcus woke to the putrid stench of feaces and blood. Pain seared through his body as he rose from the ground. He checked his body for any injuries. An iron rod was jammed in his right shoulder and he was halfway under a car. He grunted and fought his way from under the car. He heaved a sigh of relief and braced himself against the car and ripped the iron rod from his shoulder savagely. The wound bled profusely. He tore of a section of his shirt and wrapped it around the wound. He slowly from the ground and entered a shop named Good view Supermarket.
He grabbed a can of beans and gulped down the contents hungrily. He threw the can aside, took a bottle of mineral water and drank it.
He took a bag and filled it with the remaining food he saw. He took a bandage and patched his wound. Marcus walk out of the store and entered an abandoned truck and started it. Marcus turned the truck around and drove away. After some time, Marcus heard an explosion. He branched to the direction of the explosion.
