The Person stepped into the private room and shut the door. He sat down on the chair opposite Alice and they were only seperated by only the table.All along this whole process Alice had nkt ssid s word and was onky staring at the young Man who ahd just emtered her private room. "I'm sorry but I think you've got the wrong room. I'm meant to be meeting a business partner here." Alice said as she stared deeply at the fine looking young man. The man who was sitting opposite her smiled slightly that it almost went unnoticed and leaned back on the chair. "I guess I'm your business partner then."
Alice laughed coldly and shook her head "I'm sorry sir but you've got the wrong person. The person who I'm suppose to meet is an old man who is a business partner of my father. I don't know if you are here to impersonate or something but if you don't leave I'm going to call the cops on you"
When the young Man heard that she was expecting an old man as her business partner his eyes grew dark. He stared at her for a few seconds and couldn't help laughing lightly. "You seem to have misunderstood. I'm looking for Miss Alicia Hansley and I know she's you."
Alice stared at him in disbelief. How did he know her? From what she knows it's suppose to be an old wrinkled man that she's meeting today not some rich young master. The person she was meeting is meant to be the owner of the largest company in half of Asia and NewYork. She examined the man carefully and tried to figure out if she was mistaken. After some time when no one said anything Alice quickly dropped the bill for the food she had ordered, picked up her handbag and walked away without looking back once. She mumbled as she walked out of the door. "I don't know if they take me for a fool or something"
The young Man stared at her back without batting an eyelid with a thin smile plastered on his face. He couldn't help but laugh as he picked up the glass that was filled with wine and drank it slowly. "What an interesting character"
As soon as Alice left Davis rushed into the room oy to be greeted by Xavier's smiling face. He was dumbstruck. Ever since he had been been Xavier he had never seen smile even if it was just a smirk. When Davis realized that he had been standing there staring at Xavier without saying anything, he quickly straightened up and avoided Xavier's glaring eyes. " Did everything go well Xavier. I saw Miss Hansley walking out angrily and I thought maybe everything didn't go as planned"
Xavier looked at him and scoffed " what do you think?" He stood up from his chair and arranged his suit properly before walking out. He turned to Davis and said " prepare a meeting with her company before the end of this week. And I need to speak with Richard"
Then he walked out of the door. Davis quickly followed behind him.
At the Hansley mansion.
Alice stormed into the house with anger written all over her face. When the housekeeper Mrs Jane came to welcome her she glanced at her and nodded slightly before storming off to her Father's study.
She knocked on the door twice before she heard her father asking her or come in. She quickly opened the door and shut it close carefully suppressing the urge to slam it shut. " Why was your business partner s no show dad? A young man came in claming that he was the person I'm suppose to meet whereas he wasn't. I waited for a whole 1 hour yet I saw no business partner.!" She breathed heavily after saying so much without pausing. She looked at her Father who was sitting behind his desk staring at her with a little bit of amusement on his face.
"Are you sure he did not show up. Do you even know how he looks?"
Alice nodded her head with slight vigor as if she was very sure. Richard couldn't help laughing out loud. Alice couldn't understand what was so funny she sat down on the chair beside her and folded her hands in anger. "What's so funny Father. You seem to be very amused." Alice asked as her anger was clearly plastered on her face. "Since you have decided to be ignorant I'll leave you to it Alicia. And one more thing I won't tell you this anymore. The emotion you show on your face are enough for people to take advantage of you."
When Alice heard this words her heart skipped a few beats. She avoided eys contact with her father and walked out of the study.
30 minutes before Alice came into the Richard's study
Richard was not he call with Xavier
"How did the meeting go with my daughter?"
Richard asked Xavier throught he phone.
" So you didn't tell your daughter about who I am and who's she's meeting. She referred to me as a fat old man with wrinkles"
Richard couldn't help laughing. " I thought you would like to do the introduction yourself."
" Since she doesn't seem to know letseave it that way. I'll see you soon Richard. Good night"
Richard cut the call and kept his phone on the table. He knew Alice character and knew that she would not hesitate to walk out of the private room without any thoughts and once again she proved him right. He sighed and leaned on his chair with his eyes closed.
He knew the kind of person Xavier was that was why he was ever ready to give his daughter to him willingly. He knew thy nothing will happen to her and Xavier can't hurt her. Infact he was even surprised when Xavier said he wants to get to know Alice more. Xavier is always cold and uncaring . So him wanting to know Alice came as a huge shock to him.
