"Come on!" Harry hissed to himself through gritted teeth as he tried to levitate himself into the air. He was currently in the basement of Number 12 Grimmauld Place, as of the moment there was only one other person in the room with him and that was Angela who was sat on the side with Jet in her lap and Thor on her shoulder. "Move into the air, damn it!" Harry yelled out before he stopped trying and began rubbing his face. "That's disappointing."
"Yes, it is." Angela agreed, having patiently watched Harry try and fly for the last half an hour or so. "Though that is to be expected, if it was an easy spell to learn then we would have heard of plenty of people doing it by now. But still, I believe that it's very possible for you to learn the spell. Hopefully you'll be able to at least start hovering before we return to school, I'm not exactly sure what a good goal is for this spell with our time period." She added the last part with a shrug.
"Neither am I," Harry admitted. "but hopefully I'll be able to start hovering soon at least, it feels like I'm wasting my time without seeing results."
"I understand that but remember, you are a Slytherin. Patience is important." She replied.
"So are results." Harry said jokingly just before Thor flew off of Angela's shoulder and flapped his wings until he landed on the arm that Harry extended for him. Thor let out a proud chirp when he had landed. "Aw, your trying to show off now, aren't you?" Harry said with a grin. "Trying to show off the fact that you can fly and I can't." Thor actually nodded and let out several happy chirps.
"Hmm, he must take after his master." Angela said with a grin.
"What the hell?!" Sirius blurted out as he entered the kitchen without any hair. "Who did this?!"
"That would be us!" Tonks grinned as she gestured to Harry and herself.
"Consider it step one of our vengeance." Harry said with a small grin.
"Is this about the Weasley's?" Sirius sighed.
"Partly." Tonks nodded. "Shall we run through the list of things you did wrong?"
"We should." Harry said before Sirius could reply.
"Number the first: You live in this house but this is technically the property of Lord Black, so you should have asked his permission before letting the order or the Weasley's in here." Tonks began.
"Number the two: If not him then you should have asked me at least since I'll be inheriting this property." Harry continued.
"Number the three: I am really liking this 'Number the...' thing.
"Number the four: So am I."
"Number the five: You invited a family that we don't like to live with us without asking any of us.
"Number the six: I promise you that both Lord Black and I will not be happy to have the Weasley family stay in this home, and that's not counting the rest of the people living in this house." Harry said.
"Number the seven: It's too late for you to cancel now."
"Alright, alright, I'm sorry." Sirius sighed. "Their home had been attacked and they were under danger as known muggle supporters, this is just until their home is repaired and warded up. I didn't think it would be this big of an issue.
"Number the eight: You don't think." Harry and Tonks said at the same time, both glaring at Sirius.
"Did you two practise that?" Ted asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes." The two once again answered at the same time.
"Look I get it, I messed up." Sirius said, rolling his eyes. "So...what's step two in your vengeance?"
"Absolutely nothing." Tonks answered.
"Eh?" Sirius blinked.
"Sirius, you're about to spend the rest of the summer and possibly longer with the Weasley's." Harry spoke slowly as if he was explaining something simple to a child. "That will be punishment enough."
"Welcome all, come in." Sirius said when the Weasley's arrived, he was thankful that he had been able to get his hair back before they arrived.
"Thank you for letting us all stay." Molly Weasley said as she entered the house followed by the twins, Ginny and Ron. "Arthur is busy at work so he'll be here in an hour or so."
"That's all well and good but please don't make too much noise." Sirius said as the kids began talking to each other after greeting him. "I don't want to wake...
"Filth!" The curtains on the portrait of Walburga Black opened up. "Mudbloods! Blood Traitors! Curses on the wizarding world!"
"Her," Sirius sighed, "I don't want to wake her."
"What is that?!" Molly asked as the portrait continued to scream curses.
"A portrait of my thankfully deceased mother." Sirius calmly explained as if the portrait wasn't continuing to scream.
"Aren't you going to stop her or something?" Ginny asked while covering her ears.
"Oh no, I have someone for that." Sirius said as he heard footsteps coming from upstairs.
"What the fuck is going on?" Harry calmly asked as he reached the bottom of the stairs.
"What are you doing here?!" Ron blurted out.
"I live here you orange haired, troglodyte." Harry said without breaking pace before he stopped in front of the portrait. "Can you stop?" Harry asked in an annoyed voice. Walburga turned to him and was about to say something before pausing when she realised it was Harry. She stopped screaming out of respect for Harry, she had been ecstatic when she had learnt that Lord Black had made this parslemouth with two familiars – a snake and a thunderbird of all things! - the heir to the Black family. As of the moment Harry was about the only person living in this house who she was willing to listen to.
"There are...filth...in the house of Black." She said before gesturing in the direction of the Weasley's.
"Trust me, I'm not particularly happy about this either, but unfortunately your son is an idiot." Harry shrugged.
"He is an idiot." She agreed with a suffering sigh.
"Hey!" Sirius said, only to be ignored.
