As soon as I left the house behind, I was back to my emotionless face. I was sweet with my family, with my closest people. It is not like that I was shy, it was just because I was not used to it from the start.
I drove my baby, my princess, the mustang to the company. When I reached the company, I started heading towards the entrance. As I entered the entrance, the employees greeted me. As they were bowing at me, David came to me.

Right next to my office, there was one more office which was a bit smaller than me, it was of David.
I sat on the chair after placing my purse on the small white couch in the office. I turned on the AC. My office was all white with many decorations. It was having a big frame of painting of ocean waves by a very famous artist. I placed my right leg to rest on the other crossing my arms, I looked up at David. Telling him to continue what he was saying.
"the owner of the restaurant is unknown... And when I talked to his assistant on the phone, he said that he cannot sell it. But when I said your name... He said that his boss, the owner would like to meet you. "
David said with tension on his face. Waiting for me to respond. He was expecting a big 'NO' from me.

While looking at it, I raised my hand and waved it to dismiss David. As David was walking towards the door, he stopped. He remembered something.
"oh, and one more thing" this words made me look up at him. "he also said to text him within 13 hours. But since 1 hour has already passed, you only have 12 hours now. "
"what? " I frowned, and my eyebrows knitted in disbelief. I looked back at the card, thinking about this mysterious man. After two minutes, I dismissed him.
I had spent my day writing and attending meetings. But, in the back of my mind, I was always thinking of that man.
As I had 'Light Years hotel' to handle, given by my father that he has built before he died in a very tragic accident. So, I was attending hotel's meeting.
In the evening around 8:30 pm, I left the company. Heading towards the car to go to my apartment. I was living in an apartment because my nana forced me, saying that I will find a guy by living in the middle of the city.
As I sat on the drivers' seat, I remembered about the card with the number. I took it out from my purse. I looked at the time, I only had half an hour left. Shit!.
So I took out my phone and started typing.
Maari: Let's meet. I am Maari Yang.
I clicked on send. I waited for the response for like, five minutes. Though he has already seen the message, he was not replying.
I got frustrated because of no response from the other side. I dropped my phone on the other seat and started driving the car.
After 15 minutes of driving, I reached the building called 'Green Leaf Heights'. It was having 23 floors. I owns the whole top floor. The whole 23rd floor. I had called my grandma that I can't come today because I was very tired today.
I parked the car and entered the elevator. After some time, I reached the 23rd floor. I reached the door of my apartment, I opened it and went towards my big bedroom from the living room. It was having 2 bedroom, one store room, one kitchen and 3 balconies in one apartment. And one floor was having two apartments, so one was mine and one was for my nana whenever she comes to stay with me for few days.
My apartment was having cream and jade blue color contrast. I walked towards my bedroom, turning on the lights. I placed my coat and my purse on the bed and quickly started heading towards the bathroom. I was so much tired today, so I took a hot bath. I takes forever in the bath and shower, I enjoys it.
After 20 minutes, I got out, wrapping myself in the towel. One towel wrapped around my body and one towel wrapped up my wet dripping hair. Yes, I uses two towels at once. I was too tired today by being professional the whole long day.
I went to my room, sitting in the balcony, on the sofa chair, I looked up at my phone. There was one notification from that man.
Mysterious man: Tomorrow, at Luxury King Hotel. 9:oo AM.
He has messaged me the address where they will be meeting at. I was staring at the message, when one more notification popped up.
Mysterious man: Don't stare at it.
I was too much stunned and shocked after reading that message. I looked at my surroundings. But no one was there, when one more message came,
Mysterious man: Don't look around. I am not watching you.
My eyes widened at the message as I read it. I was not sure if he was telling the truth when he said that he was not watching. Curiosity hit me and I asked,
Maari: Who are you?
Although the message was seen, I got no reply. I was not in the state of speaking or thinking anything. Well, I got scared. A little. I hurriedly got on the bed, and in the bed sheets. I hid under the blanket. Now the lioness has became a scared little kitten.
On the other side of the phone, the mysterious man was seating on a big chair, like a mafia king. Because of the dim lights, the half face was not visible. He was looking at the chat that I has last sent. The devilish smirk appeared on his face. He was in the dark grey suit, revealing his muscles. He was sitting in an office kind of... room, but it was not just a regular room, more like a big, massive, insane room.
"boss, they are here" the man came besides him and informed. Looking at him, he was looking like the mysterious man's personal assistant. The seated man nodded as his smirk disappeared. He slipped the phone in his pocked as he started leaving with his assistant.
