Jake's Pov As I stood there, the weight of the decision pressed heavily on my mind. The world around me blurred, and the muffled sounds of chaos filled the air. Deep down, I knew that I had a choice to make – a choice between dying alone or dying with everyone. My heart raced, and a whirlwind of thoughts flooded my mind. Fear clawed at me, urging me to run away, to escape the impending danger. But then, amidst the chaos, I saw the faces of those innocent people – the families, the children, the ones who had no part in this madness. 'Well, not like there is any other option' I sighed as this guy literally blocked all exits, save for the emergency window. A profound sense of responsibility and empathy welled up within me. I couldn't stand by and watch as their lives were threatened. A surge of courage ignited within, challenging the fear that held me back. "What if I don't make it?" I wondered. The unknown loomed before me, but the thought of not trying to save them felt even worse. ' Even if I were to die, atleast I died while trying' In that moment, a simple truth crystallized in my mind – the value of human life and the importance of standing up for what is right. The decision was made. I couldn't live with myself if I didn't at least try to make a difference. With a deep breath, I steeled myself for what lay ahead. The path of sacrifice stretched before me, but in that instant, I embraced it. I chose to be the shield that stood between the innocent and harm, knowing that the price might be high, but the purpose was greater. "What are you doing??" The terrorist yelled but I tackled him, fortunately the floor window was big enough, I tried to push him out but he suddenly grabbed me, leaving me no choice, I-I choose to jump with him. Arghhhhhhhhhh He shouts too loudly probably, trying to vent out his frustration, " What a Idiot am I.." Booooommmmm -------------------------------------------------------------- Ai generated cover

Chapter 1 - My Traveler System

Darkness… That was all I could feel right now, as if I were trapped in some kind of dark prison. I couldn't see, I couldn't sense anything—I didn't even feel my own body. It was as if I were floating in midair, yet that couldn't be possible. There was no rush of wind, no sensation at all.

Where am I? What is happening? Someone help me... I'm going crazy…

"Okay, wake up."

Just as I thought I was dead, a voice called out to me. And then, for the first time, I felt something—I was lying on something soft. No, not just something—grass. Cold, fresh blades of grass beneath me.

I forced my eyes open, only to be greeted by the warmth of sunlight on my face.

The sky was bright blue.

"Where am I?" I asked, confused.

Once again, I heard a voice.

"You are in my domain."

Hearing this, I turned toward the source and saw a beautiful woman sitting gracefully on the grass beside me.

"Who are you?" I asked, my voice shaky.

She simply smiled, her face serene—almost divine.

"Technically, I am a goddess," she said, her tone light.

'A goddess?' I thought. 'Did I… die?'

"Hey! I can hear you," the goddess suddenly spoke, startling me.

"Nay, I think you are still in shock. Relax and rest. When you are ready, just call my name. My name is Lumia. Simply say it, and I will arrive whenever you desire to talk," she explained.

Before I could respond, she vanished, leaving only the lingering echo of her words.

"Also," her voice came again, though she was nowhere in sight, "you can just say what you need—if you want food, clothes, or anything else, just say it, and it will appear here. When you are relaxed and ready to talk, call for me. I'll be waiting."

And with that, she was gone.

I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath. My last memory… I was wearing some clothes… I was jumping… and then—

Terrorists.

Yes, terrorists… I had tried to save someone—foolishly pushed him out of the window—only to fall together with him.

"Then… shouldn't I be dead?" I asked myself, still in shock.

I remembered the goddess. Her domain… Was this the famous isekai?

"Am I dreaming?" I muttered, but instead of fear, I felt a sudden wave of excitement.

"No freaking way," I whispered, my heart pounding.

All those isekai stories—the adventures, the fantasy worlds—could it really be happening to me?

"But wait… what if this is just a dream?"

To test it, I hesitantly spoke, "I want… um… a cheeseburger?"

In an instant, a warm, freshly made cheeseburger appeared in my hands. My eyes widened as I held it.

"This… this is real," I murmured, taking a bite.

It tasted amazing.

"Okay, awesome—Coke!" I said next.

A bottle of soda popped into existence. I opened it and took a deep drink.

"Ahhh, nothing beats a Coke and a burger to destress," I said to myself, lying back on the soft grass.

"If this is a dream… I hope it never ends," I whispered as my eyes grew heavy, and I drifted off to sleep.

Some time later, I woke up.

The bright blue sky was now dark, adorned with countless twinkling stars.

"Lumia," I called out, gazing at the night sky.

In an instant, she appeared once again, but this time, she was much closer.

"Are you ready to talk now?" she asked with a calm smile.

I nodded. "Where am I?" I asked, the most fundamental question on my mind.

"Hm… You are in my domain. Think of it as my personal divine realm," she explained.

I sat up as she continued, "Of course, my true home is hidden away from mortals, but since I have chosen you as my special guest, I will show you."

She waved her hand, and in an instant, the scene around us transformed.

Before me stood a massive castle, its walls shimmering under the moonlight. A grand entrance awaited at the top of a wide set of stairs, and around it stretched beautiful gardens filled with glowing flowers and tall, majestic trees.

My breath caught in my throat.

This was real.

"Amazing, right?" she asked with a smirk.

I could only nod.

"So… why am I here?" I finally asked. This was the question that would decide my fate.

She tilted her head and smiled. "I called you here because I found you somewhat funny."

"Eh?" I let out a dumbfounded sound.

Of course, I was hoping for her to say something like Oh, my hero! I need you to save the world! Only you can help me!

"Shut up. What do you think I am?" she snapped, as if reading my mind.

I cleared my throat awkwardly.

"So… what now?" I asked. Though, deep down, I knew I wasn't about to get some cliché isekai adventure.

"Well, what else?" she said playfully, leaning forward.

"Huh?"

"It's simple," she continued. "I will give you a small portion of my power. Use it to randomly travel from one world to another, live however you want, and maybe stir up some trouble with other gods' worlds. Meanwhile, I'll sit back and watch you with popcorn. My little hero~~!" she teased dramatically.

I nearly choked. "Of course… let me guess…"

"Bah! So what if you're nothing but an entertainer to me?" she scoffed. "Think of yourself as a travel vlogger! Yes, that's your new job—traveling from world to world!"

I rubbed my chin. "A traveling vlogger, huh? Not a bad idea… but wait—what about my privacy?"

She raised an eyebrow. "Privacy?"

"I mean, you won't be watching me during… intimate moments, right?" I asked cautiously.

She clicked her tongue in annoyance. "Absurd! I am a goddess! How dare you think such things about me?!" she huffed, crossing her arms.

After a deep breath, she sighed. "You're a very annoying human, you know that? Most mortals would be begging for my favor, yet here you are, cracking jokes." Then, after a brief pause, she chuckled. "Maybe that's why I chose you. It's… refreshing."

I nodded, though her words stung a little.

"Hmm…" She tapped her chin thoughtfully, then reached out her hand. A golden light shimmered in the air, and suddenly, my body felt lighter—my exhaustion vanishing.

"Thank you," I muttered.

"Okay then! Since it's your first time, I'll let you decide your first world for your travels," she declared.

I blinked. "Wait… I get to choose?"

"Yes, I've also given you my blessing, which you'll discover after reincarnating, but go ahead—tell me what kind of world you want first."

My mind raced. There were so many choices… but then it hit me. My last memory before dying—I was reading a light novel.

I grinned. "Overgeared! The world of VRMMO Satisfy! I want to be there!"

That was the last light novel I had read before dying, and I absolutely loved it. A world where technology was advanced enough to fully immerse players in a game-like reality while still enjoying modern conveniences?

"Interesting choice," Lumia said with a smirk. "Very well, then… Off you go!"

And with that, everything faded into white.
