Some people even started to wonder if "Xian Yu" was actually a Maestro playing games with the industry under a fake name.
After all, the industry never explicitly banned composers from using pseudonyms to have some fun.
And given the peculiar personalities of Maestros, it wouldn't be an unheard-of occurrence.
The next day, Starlight released an internal statement:
Xian Yu is not a Maestro's pseudonym. He's genuinely a rookie.
Inside the company, quite a few people who had met Xian Yu confirmed this statement, and even added some extra details: Xian Yu is male, not very old, and only recently started working in the composition department.
"Then he must have stockpiled these songs beforehand."
"Exactly, it's not necessarily about being prolific. Xian Yu may have accumulated a few good songs before formally entering the industry, and now releasing them in quick succession gives the impression of high productivity."
