As I sent my Wooxie out, Bonz also sent out his Pokémon, which turns out to be totally unlike what I have already predicted!
[Duskull, the Requiem Pokémon, is a Ghost type Pokémon.]
[Duskull can pass through any wall no matter how thick it may be. Once this Pokémon chooses a target, it will doggedly pursue the intended victim until the break of dawn. Duskull wanders lost among the deep darkness of midnight. There is an often told admonishment given to misbehaving children that this Pokémon will spirit away the bad children who have earn scoldings from their mothers. This story may comes from the Duskull's habit that loves to hear the crying of children and startles the bad kids by passing through the walls to make them cry. By making itself invisible, it silently sneaks up to its prey, and a single glare from its lone scarlet eye can make even burly grown-up man freeze in utter fear.]
[This Duskull have the ability Levitate, and it knows the move Memento (Egg Move), Astonish, Leer, Disable, Shadow Sneak, Confuse Ray and Night Shade.]
....
So it is a Duskull and not a Pumpkaboo like I have anticipated.
Oh well, aside from its Disable and Confusion Ray, I don't fear any of its other moves.
"Shion, use Fairy Wind!"
"Duskull.... prepare Disable...." Bonz talk in a slow manner, like a man in his dying hour struggling to even take a breath.
By the way, I don't mean to be rude, but with his gloomy appearance coupled with his sunken face that looks like a malnourished people with the bones sticking close to his skin with almost no meat in between, he looks like a relative to his Pokémon Duskull.
Anybody wanna bet that Duskull is his starter? Because I do.
As I am immersed in my random thoughts, Shion have used her Fairy Wind to strike her enemy with a STAB plus Super Effective attack.
The Duskull is thrown back quite far away and it is flickering out like a dying candle before its flame is snuffed out as the ghost Pokémon is taking a massive amount of damage.
But it still manage to Disable Shion's Fairy Wind as ominous ghastly black energy are tying up my pokemon and hits her brows before the black misty fog around her vanished without a trace, leaving my Pokémon that seems a little dazed as she suddenly lose her ability to use her last move.
It doesn't matter though, I still have another Fairy type moves on her disposal.
"Shion, now use Disarming Voice!"
"Duskull..... Prep...." Bonz immediately stopped his words as his Pokémon is already KO'd by the second super effective STAB move that will be never missed as it is being delivered by Shion.
And that concludes my fourth win, now on to the final round!
.....
And just like what I have predicted when I watched a match with Kotonoha after my third win, now I am dueling against Weevil!
Oh, by the way, on the fourth round before this match, Weevil is dueling against a Grass Pokémon Trainer who sent out a Bellsprout.
On that match, Weevil sent out a Dustox to handle his enemy's Pokémon with ease.
So a Scyther and a Dustox, at least I know two out of his Pokémon now.
The question is, which Pokémon will he sent out?
Bah, for that question, no matter what, I am sure that it must be a Bug Pokemon so I sent out my part Flying type Phinia out to the Battle Arena.
And Weevil sent out his Scyther which immediately brandished its scythe upon seeing my tiny bird pokémon.
[Scyther, the Mantis Pokémon, is a Dual Type Bug and Flying Pokémon.]
[Scyther is blindingly fast. Its breakneck speed enhances the effectiveness of the twin scythes on its forearms with its momentum. Scyther usually confuses its prey with its quick, ninja-like movements. Then, in an instant, it will cleaves them with its scythes. This Pokémon's scythes are so effective, they can slice through thick logs with only a single stroke. And those two sharp scythes on their limbs are more than just weapons. Scyther also uses them with dexterity to dress its prey before eating.]
[While they are young, Scyther used to live together deep in the mountains, training themselves in how to fight with their scythes and move at high speeds. As Scyther fights more and more battles, its scythes become sharper and sharper, until it becomes nearly impossible to parry its attacking scythes. If you come across an area in a forest where a lot of the trees have been cut down cleanly, what you have found is most likely a Scyther's territory.]
[This Scyther have the Ability Technician, and it knows the Move Counter (Egg Move), Leer, Quick Attack, Fury Cutter, Double Team, Swords Dance and Focus Energy.]
...
"Phinia, let's start with an Aerial Ace!" Since that Scyther is a speedy type, coupled with Double Team in its move pool, I decided to stick with a STAB Super Effective move that will never miss.
"Scyther use Counter!"
What!? Σ(°△°|||)︴
Oh No! Phinia is in great danger!
"Phinia, quickly parry with your Steel Wing!"
Phinia already struck the Scyther heavily with her Aerial Ace, she is a bit startled when she heard me suddenly shouting at her.
But our diligent training so far has paid off, and Phinia quickly channeled a grayish Steel type energy on her wings, before a Scyther that has already prepared its scythe for a fatal strike countered her Aerial Ace that have dealt a massive damage upon it.
How much damage is dealt by Phinia's Aerial Ace?
Although we don't have the numbers here in this reality unlike in the game, but we can still make a rough calculation about it.
First, Aerial Ace is a Flying type move, thus it deals double damage to a Bug type Scyther even though it also have Flying type as its secondary typing.
Then, Phinia herself is a Flying type Pokémon and thus her Aerial Ace get 1.5x Same Type Attack Bonus, so add it with 2x damage, that means Phinia's Aerial Ace will do 3x damage to the Scyther.
And last but not least, don't forget about the Muscle Band that Phinia have on her head. That hold item increases the power of all physical attack moves used by its holder, I don't know how much it will raised in this World, but if it's the same as in the game, then it will be a +10% bonus.
So, add all of that factors in the equation, and even I am amazed that the Scyther can still stand despite taking such a massive damage.
And it even dished out a Counter, a Fighting type move that deals Double the Damage that is received from Physical Attack back to its attacker.
That means if Phinia is getting hit by the Counter without having her guard up, that means she will take at least Six Times worth of her own Aerial Ace back on her at once.
Fortunately, Phinia managed to parry the attack with her Steel Wing while making her way out of the Scyther's Counter.
She still take a heavy damage though, I think one of her wings is broken as she is fallen to the ground with her left wing limping.
The Scyther is no better though, after the adrenaline (did Pokémons have it?) from the Fighting move Counter is off, the Bug/Flying Pokémon is also kneeling to the ground, reeling on its injuries.
""Phinia/Scyther, Quick Attack!"" Both me and Weevil issued the same command at the same time.
I guess both of us are thinking of the same thing, with each of our Pokémon are now badly injured, the first to land the hit would be the winner!
Now, the duel have turned to be a speed duel, on which both my Pidgey and Weevil's Scyther race against each other to land the first hit that will KO their enemy.

[ ] Author's Note [ ]
A. Disarming Voice, also known as Charm Voice in Japanese version of the Pokémon games, is a Fairy type move where the user is letting out a charming cry that in turn does emotional damage to their opposing Pokémons. This sound based attack that didn't make contact with the enemies is never misses and affects all adjacent foes, but not affect the allies.
B. The Pokémon ability Technician increases the power of the moves that are (usually) with the base power 60 or below by 50%. Moves with variable base power are boosted only when it is on 60 or below. For example, if Magnitude hits at level 6 it will be boosted from 50 to 75, but a level 7 Magnitude will stay at 70 base power. Moves that deal fixed HP damage (like Sonic Boom or Dragon Rage) are obviously not affected by Technician.
