His words made Ravi feel guilty; he knew how much Arlen did not want him to carry any burden on his own, "I know. I am really sorry about this."
Arlen's eyes narrowed as he felt the air grow heavy like the atmosphere was pressing in from all sides. His skin prickled as if the very participles making up his flesh had been pinned in place, locked by some unseen force. The surrounding space shimmered like it was being compromised.
