Chapter 2 - CHAPTER :2

Anjan sat while hiding behind the rock, his back facing a dead end so, his back was safe. Feeling a little relieved, he started to gather his memories together.

The name of the body he is currently residing in Lucas, Don't have last name cause commoners are not able to have last name.

He is studying at the royal magic academy in the capital because, it is compulsory to attend the magic academy for those who have come of age. He was at the bottom of class not because he was weak or bad at studies, it was that his job class was considered useless, otherwise he is a normal mob in the crowd you can find anywhere.

Being at the bottom of the class he is looked down upon and often avoided. One day he was approached by some noble kids and their Lackey, the previous owner of the body was navie and often tricked by simple kind words.

They proposed to make a party and go to dungeon diving. He agreed easily, when they were met with an unexpected rare monster they used him as a bait and escaped while abandoneding him.

He tried to run away from the monster but, reached the dead end, his foot slipped and he fall of the cliff and died because of the strong impact in the head, I know this because there is still a wound at the back of my head.

He was commoner and on top of that he has come to capital leaving his village to attend the Royal magic academy, with his childhood friend who he has a promise Marry after graduation, but she was attracted by a ikeman noble and joined his harem. So, even if he went missing there was not anyone who will care for him here in the capital.

"Now that I am aware of his identity of this body, I guess I should change my name to Lucas as well, hmmm but I don't want to do that"

I don't know how but when he died and his soul left his body, I came to possess it. I don't know how but I did it. now the main question is where I am in this dungeon.

"I am pretty sure that I was on the fifth floor of the dungeon, when I falled of the cliff, and should be only one way up and down that is the stairs, but is it possible that the cliff is connected to deepar floors? Might be an exception."

Anjan now Lucas started to analyse his current situation with a calm mind. He already gathered enough information, In this world their is status and level system. The higher the level the strong one becomes, surprisingly the people can also evolve when they reach their level cap. The level cap is at 100 and their is 10 stages of evolution know to mankind, which has been discovered by humans.

" Who hell carries broom and mirror in the dungeon, MOTHERF***ER."

What hell was wrong with the previous Lucas head. Although he was not a retard he was definitely not a normal boy, there are even some dark secrets that I need to carry to garve with me, that is the forbidden knowlegde.

I need to find my way out of here, with a sense of fear, I was also feeling excited because every fantasy lover dream of being in another world fighting monsters, monster girl harem, and world tour in the magical realm.

With a spring in his step, Anjan set off in search of the elusive staircase leading to the upper floors. Each corner turned, each corridor explored, filled him with a sense of exhilaration—the thrill of the unknown beckoning him ever onward.

"Ah-ha! Stairs!" he exclaimed triumphantly as he caught sight of a narrow staircase winding its way upward.

As he ascended each step, Anjan couldn't help but feel a surge of anticipation coursing through his veins. "Who knows what adventures await me up there?" he mused, his imagination running wild with possibilities. He completely forgot about the monster he will meet along the way.

Lucas heart pounded in his chest as he squared off against the five goblins that lurked in the dimly lit dungeon chamber. His hands trembled with a mixture of nerves and excitement, his grip on the sword uncertain as he faced the looming threat before him.He found them when he immerged from the stairs.

"Alright, you ugly little buggers," he muttered under his breath, his voice tinged with a nervous edge. "Let's dance!"

With a quick swipe of his blade, Anjan lunged forward, his movements clumsy and uncoordinated as he struggled to find his footing in the heat of battle. The goblins, their eyes gleaming with malice, closed in on him with frightening speed, their jagged teeth bared in savage grins.

"Come on, you green-skinned pests!" he shouted, his voice rising with a mix of bravado and trepidation. "I'll send you back to the depths where you belong!"

As the goblins lunged at him from all sides, Anjan's heart raced with a sense of urgency, his every instinct screaming for survival. With each swing of his sword, he fought to keep the creatures at bay, his movements clumsy yet determined as he danced on the razor's edge of danger.

But for every blow he landed, another goblin seemed to take its place, their relentless assault pushing him to the brink of exhaustion. Sweat beaded on his brow, his breaths coming in ragged gasps as he struggled to maintain his resolve in the face of overwhelming odds.

"Is that all you've got?" he taunted, his words laced with bravado as he parried blow after blow. "I've faced scarier things than you in my sleep!"

Yet beneath the bravado lay a deep-seated fear—a fear of failure, of letting himself became same as his past life. With each passing moment, Anjan's nerves frayed at the edges, his clumsy swordsmanship betraying the weight of his inexperience.

But even amidst the chaos and uncertainty, one thing remained clear—a fierce determination to stand his ground, to fight with every ounce of strength he possessed, until the last goblin disappeared in mist . And with that unwavering resolve burning bright within him, Anjan pressed onward, ready to face whatever trials lay ahead in this unforgiving dungeon of shadows and steel.

[Level up!]

With the last goblin defeated my level also rose to 93. I picked up the stones and Pressed forward, occassionally meeting some kobolds and goblins and finally I come to a familiar place which was the cliff where the previous Lucas fell off.

" So, it is 5 th floor, thank God I didn't fall in somewhere deeper or I would have been dead by now."

I kept going back the way previous Lucas came relaying on his memories, After almost two hours I came to the 2 nd floor and I am only 2 level away from 2nd stage evolution.

" GROWL ~"

I am feeling extremely hungry after spending my stamina and energy to fight the goblins.

"Only two floors are left now, hang in their me!"

******

As Lucas stood at the threshold of the first floor, his stomach growled with a ferocity that matched the snarls of the ten goblins blocking his path. Hunger gnawed at his insides, a relentless beast that demanded to be fed, no matter the cost.

With a fierce determination burning in his eyes, lucas's grip tightened around the hilt of his sword, his fingers itching for battle. His hunger fueled his rage, his thirst for victory eclipsing all else as he faced down his adversaries.

"Chalo, come on, you filthy goblins!" he spat, his words a volatile mix of Hindi, each curse punctuated by the clang of steel meeting flesh. "Time to feed you to the wolves!"

With a savage ferocity, Lucas launched himself into the fray, his movements a blur of motion as he carved a path through the ranks of his foes. His curses echoed through the chamber, a symphony of defiance and fury that reverberated off the cold stone walls.

"Ab samjha? Do you understand now?" he roared, his voice laced with venom as he faced down the goblin horde. "This is my domain, my territory! And you're nothing but vermin beneath my boot!"

With each goblin felled, Lucas's hunger only grew more ravenous, his appetite for food insatiable. His sword danced with deadly precision, a whirlwind of steel and fury that left a trail of carnage in its wake.

"Sharam karo, have some shame!" he bellowed, his voice dripping with disdain as he dispatched his enemies with ruthless efficiency. "You think you can stand in my way? You're nothing but insects to be squashed!"

As the last goblin turned mist at his feet, Lucas's chest heaved with exertion, his victory tinged with the bitter taste of blood and sweat. But amidst the chaos and carnage, one truth remained undeniable—his hunger , his path clear, Lucas stood triumphant, a force to be reckoned with in this treacherous dungeon of shadows and strife.

He was so irritated and hungry that he forget that he was cursing while changing languages ,and finally he exited the dungeon, it was already nearing sunset.

[Condition met for evolution. Do you want to evolve now.]
