The drawing of the location on the map was different from the area they stood in now. Once a forest teeming with life, the land was now littered with dead trees and barren soil. Yet what Noctua had mentioned before was true—those with a decent sensitivity to mana could feel the chaotic energy permeating the area. For the weak, this sensation could cause unconsciousness, or in the worst-case scenario, an overload from absorbing that wild energy.
"So that's why it's such a self-explanatory name, huh, Master?" Litty said, floating in front of Edward with her hands clasped behind her back, squeezing tightly.
"Well, I'm kind of disappointed. I've seen patchier places…" Edward muttered, turning to Noctua, who stood holding Nindia in her arms. "So, is there any information about the center of this… thing?"
