"Damn it…" Xavier groaned, pushing himself up; the dwarf had sacrificed his life, but because of that, his plan was made easier.
The dragon was barely holding herself together, but she was still alive even after all that, showing how powerful she really was.
Sylve ran over to Xavier.
"She's not done," Sylve muttered.
"But she's weak now. We have to finish it; I just need one more distraction so she won't see what's coming," Xavier spoke.
Sylve wiped the blood from her face and nodded. "What type of distraction"
"Something to take her attention away from on top of her"
The dragon finally screamed—a horrible, deafening sound. She was barely holding on; even though they did nothing, she was going to die sooner or later, but they had to end it.
She twisted and flailed, flames bursting out one last time as her wings beat wildly, and she wanted to fly up. But her strength was leaving her fast.
