"No, I called dibs on it first, and what proof do you have that you saw it first? I had my eyes on it as we flew down here," Mystara retorted, increasing her speed.
Umbranis glared at Mystara, who was now far ahead of him. She was a bird by nature, with flying abilities superior to those of the shadow wolf.
He gritted his teeth. "Sigh, maybe I should give up," he muttered, his disappointed gaze fixed on Mystara's figure.
He really wanted the amber-colored core of the tier-one dragonic creature, a delicacy that would cause a slight increase in strength, as they had both reached their pinnacle a long time ago.
Dragonic creatures like them did not survive on the flesh of other creatures but on their mana cores, which provided essential nutrients just as food would.
