"Are you really sure about this, Jade? I mean, I don't mind, but don't you think it's a bit too soon?" Inquired Aura skeptically.
"No, I think it's the right time. She's performing decently enough with the full party, so it's time to see how she handles herself in a smaller group. Keep assessing the situation regularly, you can cut the Quest short if it becomes apparent that it's too soon and she can't handle it," I responded objectively.
"Okay, got it, I'll trust your judgment. But why aren't you the one accompanying her? You're better at, like, assessing stuff than I am," She replied with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, uh..."
"Yeah? What is it?"
"I don't know, I just thought maybe you'd feel uneasy or whatever if I was alone with her. If it were the reverse and you were on a Quest alone with another guy, I wouldn't be particularly thrilled about that. So, yeah, I figured it'd be better if I let you go with her instead," I admitted awkwardly, averting my gaze.
