She blinked blearily at her maid, Tieya.
"Huhn?"
She was tired, sore and....just groggy.
Tieya was too cheerful.
"It is the anniversary of your coronation." The woman repeated, smiling warmly at her.
She liked her head maid quite a bit.
But that did not make her words make any more sense. Or the woman herself having such cheer it felt almost oppressive in Isabelle's currently groggy, bleary, sore state.
"My anniversary..."
"I realize it would be a week of celebrating normally, so it's easy to miss...but your steward Archibald said that it would detract too much from the wedding festivities."
The wedding...
Yes.
Right.
"Mmhn." She gave a slow nod.
"So the celebration will be today, and the festival after the wedding is finished."
That made sense.
It would have been nice for her to know this before it happened.
For some reason, she had no memories of these anniversary celebrations, which did seem to indicate that the memories she'd been given were incomplete.
