Yu Jingrong pushed him away, her tone cold yet tired, "I'm tired, I want to rest."
"Jingrong!" Li Chengyun picked up Yu Jingrong, wanting to have a proper talk with her: "Look at me, tell me anything you want, please don't cry anymore, your tears are breaking my heart."
His slender fingers gently caressed her face, wiping away the tears.
Yu Jingrong leaned casually in his arms, remaining silent, while Li Chengyun continued to wipe her tears which fell even faster, like shiny pearls dropping one by one.
She wanted to say something, but didn't know what to say, so she chose to say nothing at all.
Li Chengyun could feel, could feel Yu Jingrong's faint indifference and estrangement; his arms tightly hugged her as he said with a suppressed voice, "Jingrong, what can I do to make you forgive me!"
