Mrs. Johnson loved to tend to flowers and plants; she loved flowers, and she knew how to appreciate them. There were so many flowers in the garden, and she let Lily Smith pick them at random, but this one particular flower was so precious to her that it almost caused her physical pain...
Amanda Smith secretly signaled Lily Smith with her eyes, urging her to come over. Lily also sensed the seriousness of the situation and snuck behind Amanda, poking her little head out to ask, "Grandma, did Lily do something wrong?"
"No, not at all." Mrs. Johnson forced a smile, feeling as though her heart was bleeding. She shook her head and weakly walked over to the couch, embracing Sky Moore, who was doing his homework there.
Still, her own Sky was good... Her Sky would never pick flowers...
Mrs. Johnson felt so heartbroken that she almost vomited blood.
