The wedding invitation was enclosed in a white, hollowed-out design, tied with a light blue bow, looking simple and refined. Amelia Clarke pulled out the invitation and opened it to see, on the left inner page, a silhouette of Amelia Clarke and Owen Moreland embracing and gazing into each other's eyes, accompanied by eight gilded characters: "Years By Years, Day by Day, Night by Night."
On the top right corner was the word "Presented," followed by a blank space; below that were "Owen Moreland & Amelia Clarke," and further down, the schedule of the wedding: "16:30 Wedding Ceremony, 18:30 Dinner, 21:00 Party."
Printed at the end was the address of the wedding venue, and a PS, "No ceremonial gifts needed."
The design of the invitation was evidently made with care.
Amelia looked at the silhouette of the two on the left, not recalling ever taking a photo with Owen except for their wedding photo; they hadn't taken any pictures together.
