In that moment, she wanted to avoid him, but it was almost impossible.
Their eyes met, and she was filled with shock.
Sofia Hamilton never expected that the person who had entrusted Mr. He was Aaron Brown.
Why was he helping her?
Or was there some other motive?
Mr. He certainly hadn't expected Sofia to follow him here. Awkwardly, he glanced at Aaron Brown, trying to explain himself, "Mr. Brown, um… I'm sorry, I didn't know Miss Hamilton would…"
"Forget it."
Aaron spoke, his expression taut. "You can leave now."
Mr. He had no choice but to leave. For a moment, only Sofia and Aaron remained.
Aaron stepped forward. "I mean no harm. I just want to help you."
