Jasper Bollock said, "You're not feeling well today, we should head back early and come again another day."
Evelyn Crawford insisted, "It's not that exaggerated, I'm feeling much better now."
She looked at Amanda Jenkins, "Okay? Take me to see your designs?"
She was almost at her limit.
She really didn't know if she could get through this okay.
Right now, this was the only plan she could think of; she just had to cling to a sliver of hope and give it a try.
Amanda was somewhat surprised by Evelyn Crawford's interest, as she didn't believe Evelyn would take an interest in her designs. However, seeing Evelyn's pleading gaze, Amanda nodded, "Alright, I'll take you to see them."
"Thank you, let's hurry," Evelyn said briskly as she walked out the door and turned back to Jasper Bollock, "Keep an eye on Violeta here, don't let her bully Kent again. We'll be back soon."
Before Jasper Bollock could say anything, Evelyn had already disappeared at the doorway.
