"HWANG YEJUN, leave," Wonhee said coldly. "I don't want to see you in the meantime."
Yejun looked devastated. "Wonhee-ya…"
"I need to think— and I can't do that with you here."
She felt like she would start saying mean and hurtful things to Yejun because of her current state of emotion.
Hence, she wanted him out of her sight.
"But you need someone to stay with you for your protection, Wonhee-ya."
"I won't leave the house," Wonhee said, avoiding Yejun's gaze. "Ahyeonnie will be here later, and Semi Unnie's house is safe. I feel like I'm going to end up hating you at this rate."
"What did I do wrong?"
He did not just ask that, did he?
She really didn't want to see Yejun, but she ended up glaring at him.
"I don't understand it, Wonhee-ya," Yejun said in a serious tone. "I chose to hide things from you because I know you'd end up hating yourself if you find out the effect of your abilities on other Awakened People. Is it so wrong for me to want to protect you from that pain?"
