On the way back to the Inn, Ethan Herd carried Scarlett Glenn on his back, moving quickly. "Wife, just hang in there, I'll take you to the hospital soon."
When they reached the doorstep, Scarlett Glenn patted his shoulder. "Okay, no one's here. You can put me down now, stop pretending."
Ethan set her down. "Are you really okay?"
"Do I look like there's something wrong?"
Ethan pinched Scarlett Glenn's nose.
As soon as he opened the door, he saw several corpses lying in the bedroom. His face turned sour immediately. He yanked Scarlett Glenn inside and quickly closed the door, cursing as soon as he did, "Damn, Gabriel Johnny, can't you go outside to kill someone? How are we supposed to get out with this mess?"
Gabriel Johnny put down the script. "I didn't have a choice, I couldn't just let them go and then have them bring back more people to kill me."
