"Ella Lacey, you really had the guts to come, and you came so quickly,"
Emma Campbell was standing in front of the garden courtyard's skylight, setting something up when she saw her appear and feigned calmness as she stopped.
"Ella, you wouldn't be setting a trap here, would you?" Ella stood at the doorway with her family's little bundle, not moving a step further inside.
"Are you scared?"
Emma approached her with an imposing demeanor, "Don't you want to avenge your dear sister?"
"Of course, I do."
Ella eyed her warily, "In any case, you're up to no good."
"How smart, it seems you're not always so foolish."
Emma's tone was unfriendly as she turned to glare at the child beside Ella, frowning, "You and your daughter are really inseparable, aren't you? Last time, it was the two of you who came, right?"
For some reason, Emma always felt more nervous seeing Cherline Lindsey than Ella Lacey.
It was as if something hidden lay within her...
